I had Dr. Feick as my family doctor for a few years before I moved away and found that she was very caring and kind, so I came back to her when I moved back, but she had changed. I felt that she often kept me waiting, and then rushed me through my appointment, and that all she ever did was prescribe medication instead of explaining my problems and alternatives. My mother also had problems with her and stopped going in the past year.

I am on this site looking for a new Dr. because both my 20 yr. old daughter and myself feel Dr. Feick has NO people skills. She doesn't explain anything, just hands you a sheet of paper expecting you to know what it is and what you are to do with it. Went in for a full exam and two small concerns and she never even asked me if I had any questions or concerns in regards to my health. As soon as she was done with her exam, she closed the curtain and told me to dress before I even got to talk to her about what I was there for. When I told her what I was concerned with, she grudgingly gave me a VERY brief look and told me to make another appointment. I was in and out of there in less than 10 mins. She has a very condecending manner and treats you like you are unworthy of her time.

Dr. Feick has been my family's doctor for over 15 years now; she's been fantastic with all of us. Operating with the highest integrity, she never fails to exhaust all options in a diagnosis/treatment. I feel I've never been better taken care of. Dr. Feick is an incredibly caring person.

She's been my doctor for 11 years - and she's the 'best darn doctor around!' Very thorough and caring and just all around interested in what's happening with your health.

Although I only see Dr, Feick for female issues and when my GP is unavailable, I find her to be caring, compassionate, listens to my questions and concerns and will find the answers. She has even called me at home to give me info she found or thought of after I left. EVERYONE should make a list, it saves frustration for the patient and helps to prevent wasting the Dr"s time. We all want our 15 minutes, yet no one wants to be kept waiting !!

I must admit she is always behind and you do have to wait anywhere from 10-30 minutes, but she must be taking time to discuss things with you. Recently I went to see her and she has requested several blood tests, breath test, EKG, altra sound and even sent me to a specialist to find out whats up. I have always found she is a little rushed but if you ask, she will give you the answer or look it up. My mom changed to her about a year ago and was told her previous doctor had her over dosing on Thyroid pills. Dr Feick now has her more regulated and even calls her to check in on her. She even had the Dr.'s home number while they were working on regulating the heart beat.

Dr. Feick is the single best doctor I have ever been to. She is extremely knowledgable and always makes me feel like I am in good hands when I leave the office. She books 15 minutes for appointments while most doctors only book 10. Many people try to get her as a Doctor but are unable to because so many people want her.

Was a mix-up on my lab tests. Tried to convince me I hadn't had any the year before! Was quite 'put-out' when I asked for, then had to insist on a coy of that year's tests. Wrote out a prescription for me for Eltroxin when I was taking Thyroxine. Fortunately, the pharmacist changed it when I asked him to check my records at his pharmacy; unfortunately, I didn't look at the paper in her office. Has a form in waiting room for her patients to fill out exactly what they want to see her about and please do not ask other questions. Don't like to say anything but facts but I could not feel comfortable with trusting my health to such a situation.

I've been seeing her for 15 years. She does seem like she is rushed sometimes but if you sit and ask her questions she will take the time to answer them and discuss any problems. She will even look articles up right there if she can't remember exactly what they say and has even phoned over to Vancouver to ask a doctor there about a problem. She does not hestitate to send you to a specialist. Which in my opinion is good since it takes so long to get in to see them.
