I was close to dying and I had no idea what was going on. I thought it was menopause. Dr. Alldred knew something was wrong and sent me for further testing. I had cancer and started treatment right away. Dr. Alldred came to see me in the hospital. He cared about me when no one else did. He is thorough and knowledgeable and he tries his best to help as much as he can. My husband and I are going to miss him when he retires. His secretary Lorraine is excellent as well. Thanks to him I will be around to see the seasons change.

He's my parent's doctor...my father contracted stomach cancer in August of 2014...5 weeks later he succumbed to it. Was that preventable? Who knows, he never sent my dad for any preventative tests over the decades. To be frank, he never did much of anything for either of my parents. I despise most doctors for good reason anyway, so I may be blinded by my hatred for a few other doctors incompetence. You be the judge.

I just got the letter from him. He is retiring Nov. 30th. I have no idea what we are going to do. Now in our senior yrs. The new docs dont want us. We just want to say God Bless you & Lorraine. We hope you enjoy your retirement, you will be missed. We will start the search for a new doc, but you will be hard to replace. All the best to you...........The Warren Family

Never seems to know my name unless the computer is on in front of him. and thats having him for 40 plus years. likes to rattle off medications that i havent taken in years, and doesnt listen to what i (the patient) is asking or telling him. (he likes to over-talk you and babbles) After 40 plus years, i missed an appointment due to work, and of course he asked me for $20. lol Guess it was his pizza night and had no small bills? No bedside manners, not up-to-date with current events nor new medical information. His "secretary" can't even pronounce his name properly. (go ahead and call and wait for the voicemail to pick up) I know they dont have to be "nice", but professional would be refreshing, especially after so many decades of seeing him. Why didnt I leave? C'mon. How many free Dr's do we have? But I did learn something (after I fired him finally) that there are a few other Dr's taking in patients, and that the walk-in clinic on Algonquin, above Guardian Drugs, has an excellent Doctor. and can take you in for anything with a 30 min call ahead. Nice. So for Dr Alldred to act the way he did today (without getting into specifics) with me, someone with chronic major depression and high anxiety, that JUST came out of surgery, i feel major disrespected and hurt- this review is 100% honest and I feel good to let anyone with an interest in him as a doctor: good luck. maybe he just didnt like me? hope he likes you better.

He gives the run around to patients and does not get to the bottom of the problem, only suggest drugs. Needs to improve his bedside manners and offer better solutions. I would not refer my worst enemy to him. He needs to retire and fast!!!

We have been patients of his for quite some time now. He and his staff are efficient and punctual.
His referrals to us mean that he want the best knowledge and competency making a health decision for us. He gets a 5 star rating.

alldred has been my family doctor since i was a toddler and has helped mine and my family's health alot. when my grandmother was unable to get to him for an appointment due to health he came to her which is more then i've ever seen of any doctor. my family refers to him as the referral doctor though because he likes to be thorough and send his patients to the doctors who know best for that pacific thing. i am glad he is my doctor. and as for his receptionist, we just love her. she is kind, patient and understanding as well as goes out of her way to call you.

Dr Alldred has been my physician for over 30 years. I find him caring , competent, snd I feel very lucky to have him as my GP.
