Doc. MacKoff had been my obgyn for over 30 years and has been nothing but kind , considerate to me.
He always went out of his way to make sure to solved what issues i may have had even if they may not
have fallen under his specailty, he assist when no one else would or were able to ! Hands down he'll be missed. Especially when it takes over 1 year to see or get in to a replacement OBGYN.

If I could rate 0, I would...ABSOLUTELY AWFUL experience w/him nearly 20 yrs ago!! Receptionist was highly unprofessional (on personal phone call, unattentive to waiting patients) and I was in and out of his office w/in 10 mins!! There to pursue options in the midst of miscarrying my 1st child; an extremely scary and intense time. Bedside manner was NIL!! In my very short appt time, he took a VERY brief med hist, performed an internal exam (exceedingly rough - ouch!!), unapologetically tossed my "tissue" in the garbage IN FRONT OF ME, saying no, that was not fetal tissue (I had been told to bring anything which may have been relevant), and seemed angry that I was not directly on my way to hospital to have a D&C, per his advice. Kept cutting me off; seemed to like to hear his own voice. As you can imagine, a hugely upsetting experience; I was in tears as soon as I got out the door :-( While I should have reported him to the College, I was in no state at the time. Hands down, WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had with a doctor. While it was my GP's colleague who referred me, I told my own GP to NEVER refer me to MacKoff again (own GP didn't seem thrilled w/him either). When I had to see an OB/GYN on separate occasions, I saw both Dr. Helen Robson and Dr. Brenda Wagner (shared a practice); on the flip side, they were both fantastic experiences.

I have this doctor for 20 years.
He was the best, kindness, knowledgeable dr.
My daughter had same dr before and after her two pregnancy. She was always happy having this dr.
We wish he wouldn’t decide his retirement.
Dr Mackoff, thank you very much for taking care of me and my daughter for many years. You were the best !!!
We wish you lots of health and Happy Retirement !

Horrible interpersonal interactions, all about money, evil person who cares nothing for people. I had six nurses tell me to dona formal complaint but I do not. Family and friends were so.angry what happened to me. Now it has been 17 years and I have been encouraged to write a tell all book. Trauma was endured and unnecessary treatment. I have since spoken to others who can tell similar stories to share. So glad I only had this one experience with him. Dr. Harley Phillip Mackoff is all about income.

I just came from Dr. Mackoff's office where I had a biopsy. He was wonderful - kind and reassuring. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and was as gentle as possible. He took his time afterward to give his opinion and tell me what the next steps are. I'm very glad I was referred to him. I believe anyone who is referred to him can be sure they're in good hands.

Wow! Very angry people! I am offended of what you have to say about Dr. Mackoff. He delivered all 3 of my children via C-section and to be honest would never let anyone else touch me. I was told by my family Dr. that he is to the point and gets the job done and thats what he always did with a smile on his face. He is warm and compassionate if you give him the chance. I wish he will retire when he's 80! Thank you Dr. Mackoff for being you. Thank goodness your just these angry women's Dr. and not their husbands! Hard to please. Keep up the good work!

I have known Dr. Mackoff for 20+ years and he is one of the only Drs. I trust. He is NOT evil. I'm not sure how that lady expects him to notice her flinching when he is stitching her up esp. after she just gave birth which is much more traumatic!! He is the best type of Doctor, to the point and takes further measures to ensure you are properly diagnosed and healthy! I have referred him to several friends and he has been a huge help to all. He is wonderful and I selfishly hope he never retires! :)

I saw Dr Mackoff last week for dysplasia. He was wonderful! On time, nice secretary, and explained everything for me leaving me lots of time to ask any questions I may have had. Sorry to hear others have had bad experience, mine was great (well as great as these things can be). I feel confident with him for the future procedures and follow up I have to do. I am 100% glad I have him as my Doctor.
