Dr Larsen diagnosed and performed corrective surgery on thrombosed hemmorhoid condition. The surgery was okay, but the recovery was horrible and Dr Larsen and his staff did not seem too concerned even after I failed to have a bowel movement (BM) 8 days post surgery. He kept telling me (phone) to take magnesium citrate which was NOT working other than to give me severe abdominal pain. I finally had a BM that was the worst thing that ever happened to me. The recovery time as stated by Dr Larsen was VASTLY understated for this surgery. The delay in the BM and ensuing "troubles" threw off my entire gastro system and I ended up losing 18 pounds and it was 6 months until I felt "right" again. Better f/u care post op was expected.
