Biography
Dr. Novy grew up in the Chicago area. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 1992. She then attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago obtaining her degree in 1996. This was followed by pediatric residency training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center. She was board certified in pediatrics and became a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2000. Outside the practice, Dr. Novy enjoys spending time with her husband, her sons, and her dogs in addition to pursuing embroidery and sewing.

Not supportive of a first time mom breastfeeding, was told to supplement pretty quickly. Lactation specialist told me I could keep breastfeeding a few more daystoshe if baby would gain weight, and baby did gain! So glad I listened to someone besides this dr
