He is very unprofessional to the highest extent. He is very sneaky. He forgets everything you tell him and that’s if he believes you. If not for the doctor shortage, I would have left him years ago. He is so friendly to other people in the next room and Then will come to me and become rude, snarky and basically will call you a liar to your face. This is most disturbing,, he has no computer system what so ever….its all paper files. He can’t look up tests, or send referrals. Those are by fax only. He even shuts off his fax machine after hours, lunch and weekends….what if the hospital tries to send things at night or at lunch? Then it goes lost and you never get the proper care. This is unheard of. With other doctors. I saw above that he takes money from people. This is true. He actually came out and asked my family member to throw him a $20. What??
He also breaks confidentiality all the time. He has talked to me about other patients and has spoken to others about me! He deserves to be investigated. He was found to have misconduct by the board. Look it up. He had his license suspended for a month and I believe he was fined. Look it up. It’s public record.
Now is this the kind of doctor you want to care for you? Just sickening….
John, get it together. I say John because you don’t deserve to be called doctor. Shame on you. People come for care and instead you make some feel like they are the dirt on your shoe. Just shame on you. You should have more respect for your patients and yourself as a doctor. He also uses his sister, who is a pharmacist and owns a shoppers drug mart to look up your confidential information. That is a huge conflict of interest! I will be reporting her to shoppers drug mart and the board of pharmacists. She should not be looking into your file if she is not your pharmacist….get it together before someone reports you again. I wouldn’t as I don’t need the hassle, stress and more rude behaviour toward me.

After more than 30 years of being my family’s doctor, Dr. Paolone decided to “drop” a member of my family, meaning that he no longer accepts them as his patient. He gave no notice, no reasons, nothing. The person he “dropped” is in their 60s and is in urgent need of a serious medical procedure. Dr. Paolone made it clear that day that he doesn’t value his patients, nor does he value his profession. Shame on you.

He is moody, rude some days and jokes other times. He never remembers what you have. I have actually had him pfff me and roll his eyes like he does not believe me. He used to be friendly but now, he looks down at you. Wait times, good luck. He’s always a minimum of 45 minutes late coming to the office in the morning and after lunch. Confidentiality? Pfff and an eye roll from me, my family and friends or even distant friends are gossiped with about your case and will name you . So unprofessional. Moody with one visit being nice and next thing you know, next visit he barely looks at you and turns his back and l3aves. Want a medication refill? You will be waiting and calling for days, meanwhile, the patient will get sick from a sudden withdrawal of medication. Tells you that you have been diagnosed with an illness and then when you see him another time he says, who told you that? He needs to Get it together because I’m sure that The complaints on him will continue. He has already been disciplined and suspended in the past and fined by the medical board. If you don’t believe me, look it up. I don’t need his judgements or his attitude. Unfortunately I can’t find another doctor or I would be gone in a second after telling him he’s not fit to practice medicine. Don’t be cheap and hire more staff if you can’t keep up. If repeats are required, why do we need to go to the office. If nothings changed and you have no reason except another script, try staying on top of your business and get your work done. Walking into his office is like walking into an office from 1968. No computers, which is a necessity now for good client care because every referral now is sped up if done by a quick referral. Instead, he hands you a scrap piece of paper to give to one of the secretaries to refer N your lucky if it gets done because those women can’t keep up. Mary is rude and won’t budge for appts but Rhonda is a very smart, kind person who listens, unlike Mary. She gives attitude on the phone if you ask more than for an appt. she says I will ask him but he’s busy so don’t expect it to be done anytime soon....are you kidding me?? Come into the 21 century Doc. Update your office procedures and maybe you can actually be an effective doctor. Also, Why should anyone with children cut the line when your already waiting 2 hours and another 30 minutes in the one room waiting for him to finish with the patient before you. He never extended that courtesy to me when I went in with my small children. Everyone’s time is as important as parents. If the kids act up....I’m pretty sure a parent would know to take a walk with the child or go run a few errands until your turn in 2 hrs. Simply ridiculous. I went from adoring him to a complete hatred for him because of the way he treats me now. I just can’t find a doctor or I’d be gone. Can’t go to clinic as I have a chronic illness that requires a GP for regular appts and prescriptions.

He is a good doctor as far as sending you for tests specialists etc but b
Honestly, he used to be a cheerful guy with me. Now when he sees me, he has an attitude, constantly changing my meds up and down. He has no empathy for people with disabilities. Waiting is disgusting. People with disabilities should be seen on time. Everyone should be! I once really liked him and now I dread going because he will treat me like I’m filth. It’s sad. You people that think he’s great....well guess what....good for you. Your day will come soon too, just like the other people that have had a bad experience. He turns on you and his lack of punctuality is laughable. Opens at 9 but guess what....he shows up at 9:45 or even 10 sometimes. Then the afternoon, appts start at 2 pm and he comes in at 2:45. Want a prescription faxed to him? Well you will be waiting over a week for. Response. He needs to get his crap together. Respect your patients. One last thing, he never remembers what ailments you have. Never remembers.
Some days when he treats me in this demeaning manner, I will walk out.

Dr Paolone keeps patients waiting for no apparent reason than his own convenience.....no consideration for the time constraints of his patients.

Does not hesitate to make sure all services available healthcare wise are used depending on ones situation. Very professional, easy to talk to and get updates if required. People complaining about waiting times should find another Dr as they are lucky to even have a family’s Dr .
