For years I’ve been made to wait and wait for appointments, endlessly sitting in the waiting room. During Covid I was told the waiting room was closed. I waited in my car. When I went in he refused to see me. Apparently my car clock was slow. Let the service was never anything to write home about, but deny people a waiting room and then refuse to let them in is ridiculous! He is not worth fighting to see.

I've been a patient of his for many years now. I have seen a big change in the last 5 years on how he operates. It appears he is totally disinterested and doesn't care. Sort of sleep talking through appointments, where I suggest my own way of treatment and he just agrees...
Disappointing how the enthusiasm has faded and comes across not caring. Just going through the motions and putting in time in my opinion.

He has the most of the skills of a great doctor, knowledge, in depth thought to problems, referrals for tests which is great. However, if you go to him with a small problem, a problem, which he knows and you know has to be evaluated by a doctor and only a doctor; and he tells you straight to your face it is nothing this is serious. If you did not know the problem was a problem and you took his word for it instead of going to another doctor this problem you were relying upon him to solve would only get worse. Thus, could you ever trust anything he says going forward?

I used to really like Dr Hartley but I get the impression he doesn’t like me! Told me to come back in 3 yrs for a physical after not seeing me for 2.5 yrs said he didn’t need to Chk my blood pressure as it is fine( almost put me on high blood pressure pills before) hasn’t checked it in 2.5 years! On top of this he wants $35.00 to transfer my files to his new clinic that looks like marble floors! Aren’t files already in the computer? What’s to transfer! Didn’t have to pay anything when he left Charleswood Clinic! Why now? Oh yes ! Marble floors! My husband is treated the same way! We are seniors and we are discusted! Looking around for another Dr

I waited almost a year for a spot to open up so I could be a patient of Dr Hartley. I thought I had won the lottery, you get that impression that he has always been the smartest kid in the room all his life. He has always referred me for further tests what could be wrong with that? There have been a few things that he said were nothing and I had to go to another Doctor for treatment. His skill and knowledge as a doctor are unquestionable so what I am I to conclude? He doesn't like me very much maybe, but Doctors look past things like that. Perhaps he doesn't care. It is much better to have a Doctor that cares than a superstar that is recognised for acedemic achievements.

Long time patient of Dr. Hartley. Have always found him to be courteous and efficient. However his new location features indifferent staff, phones that are not picked up, messages that are not replied to , and a website link that does not work. Too bad.

Great doctor, never dismisses any of your concerns, listens patiently, takes action and never ever makes you feel rushed. Seems to be very compassionate. Very fortunate to have him as our family doctor. Thank you. His staff is great also and all of them are so very helpful every time we call.
