It’s too bad - she seems to have lost all interest in me as a patient. Maybe she wants to retire. Very disappointed all the way around, and am looking for another GP. And Bev in the office is sure missed!

I saw Dr. K for almost ten years before her apathy and lack of caring drove to seek help elsewhere. I have depression, and was literally sobbing when she walked into the room and her response was why can I do for you, not are you ok, what’s going on. Zero empathy. If you self—diagnose she will write a prescription for anything you want. She refused to help a family member manage a son with substance abuse issues. Would not help with referrals or hospitalization. DIDN’T EVEN PRETEND TO CARE about a 19 year old trying to clean up their life. I reported blood in my stool, no interest no examination no testing suggested. When the student doctor discreetly asked her if they should examine me, I heard her say go ahead if you want to. Nothing immediate was discovered by the examination and no follow up. When I finally became fed up with her lack of caring and found a new doctor he immediately made ab emergency referral and I found I had Ulcerative Colitis after FIVE YEARS of reporting symptoms when I was in for other issues. I am unbelievably lucky it wasn’t colon cancer—if it was I would probably be dead. I look at the reviews and see either one star or five. I strongly suspect this doctor is racist and I will tell you why. I worked at the airport. Dr. K came through and when she saw my black coworker she yelled out his name, DANCED over to him, hugged him, asked how his family was. She didn’t even see me. I felt like I was seeing her twin as I had never in ten years seen her show any kind of caring, enthusiasm or humour from her. This gave me the very strong impression that she is racist against white people. Some like to say you can’t be racist against white people, but this supposed professional clearly has at least two faces that she shows. One for white patients and one for black patients.

I also went to her for help with workplace harassment. I was looking for a letter of support sharing pertinent information with my employer to explain why I was struggling. I had seen a psychiatrist before I was her patient. I asked that doctors office to share proof of my care and diagnosis. The staff sent a file to her office that showed the letter my psychiatrist sent to me GP at the time with my diagnosis. She refused to include that information because the file only showed the letter he sent to me GP laying out my diagnosis, not THE DATE he made the diagnosis. Claimed she didn’t know how long ago it was so it might not still apply. Meanwhile she had been prescribing me a tide for years. I am not a head case that runs to the doctor every time I shoot myself in the foot at work. This was the one and only time I asked her for help!

I don’t know how she sleeps at night after blowing me off, not giving a shit about my nephew, plus all the other reviews I’m seeing here. She should be ashamed of herself.

Bev at the front was the absolute best—sure hope she’s enjoying a long and healthy retirement

I have been a patient of Dr. Kyeremateng for over a decade. She is very professional and takes her time thinking through any possible prognosis. She is quick to schedule me in for any tests that may be required. Her assessments are thorough which is very appreciated when you are looking for medical guidance. She makes herself easily accessible to her patients, and I always feel like I can get in to see her promptly. I trust her guidance and her advice.

I have been a patient of Dr Kyeremateng for 8 years and I have to say that I am not happy with her as a doctor at all. She is never interested in my symptoms and doesn't seem to actually want to look into what is going on. I have to end up going to a walk in clinic to get proper treatment. I would never recommend her to anyone. She just seems to want to give you a prescription and have you out the door as fast as possible and doesn't want to actually figure out how to help you. Stay away.

Do not choose this doctor. Find any other doctor. Cold, uninterested, impersonal, no eye contact. Would definitely not recommend.

Like the last review, below, I never get a really comfortable feeling that she is interested in my issues. She seemed more involved when I began seeing her almost 20 years ago. I am beginning to actively seek another G.P. bev is certainly missed too

I've been seeing her for almost 2 decades. She's always been cold and almost always disregards my symptoms. I try and list off what is going wrong and how I'm feeling, and she just stares at the computer screen. Sometimes she looks over my way and doesn't make eye contact, talks over my head or has her eyes closed as she's talking to me. She's been treating me for the wrong illness for years. I've come up with what I actually have on my own. I've been on a waiting list for a while, waiting to be switched to a different doctor. She seems depressed, and uninterested in her craft. She barely says hello, and is out the door as quickly as possible. I hear her talking with some patients in the hallway or in the other waiting rooms and seems like she's kind and friendly towards them. Not sure what I did for her to not like me. It's unlike me to go online to make reviews, but this is people's health we are dealing with. This is life or death.

I’ve been seeing her for 18 years. Best doctor. She Has always listened to all of my concerns and makes sure I leave the office with everything adressed. The wait times are sometimes ridiculous but I’ve learned Thursdays and Fridays are the best days to go. Whenever I have a major issues I get squeezed in normally within the same day. All of the staff is great except for one woman who replaced bev, very short and rude. I had Dr. Doris fill out some papers for me and then the woman requested a $25 fee which I have never paid and Doris has filled out countless papers for me. I asked if it was new and she very quickly replied saying no. I went to pay and I used my phone to tap on the debit machine as I didn’t have my wallet with me and the woman got very hostile with me about paying for it. Everything turned out okay but in the end, Dr. Doris is a lovely caring doctor aside from one of her one front receptionist woman being quite rude.
