Very communicative and thorough. He's excellent with young children and makes as many appointments and referrals as you need. I have and will continue recommending this doctor to other parents.

I found Dr. Horne to be quite arrogant. Yes, it's true that he knows a great deal, but his overconfidence also means that he does not like a patient questioning his judgements or procedures. In my case, he did not take a thorough patient history and when a problem came up related to that, he discounted it at the time. I ended up in hospital as a result of this lack of attention and arrogance. I would not recommend him to any patient who knows their own mind and has an opinion or a view to collaboration with their doctor. He does not handle this well.

Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. He did a surgical procedure on a family member that he wasn't authorized to do, and they died a few days later.

Dr. Horne is not my family Dr. but he is my husbands and daughters. I had the privlege of having him for my prenatal and the delivery of my daughter. I enjoy my vists with him and find him very understanding. Since he is younger he is very understanding on the diffrences in our world and the concerns people may have. He listens and appears to truly care about his patients and there concerns. I feel that he is truly one of the better Dr.s in this area and have no problem taking my family into see him. I hope that he stays with us in this town, we defintley need him. Keep up the good work!

Dr. Horne is the local designated D.O.T doctor and myself and a number of my pilot associates have been dissappointed in his attention to the particular needs that this type of practice requires. If he does not enjoy this type of practice perhaps in his best interests he should forgo the same and allow someone else to do this work. As a group of pilots we are now already almost unanimously avoiding his office for the D.O.T. exam and attending a doctor in Winnipeg who specializes in this field.

I did not have a family doctor for years. I was randomly assigned Dr.Horne on a visit to the clinc. I find him to be caring, very thorough in his examinations and testing. Several other members of my family now have him as their family doctor as well. He is a younger man and appears well versed to discuss any medical issue that a patient would bring up. Most amazing to me, is that he allows the patient time to express his thoughts on any diagnoses given and then takes the time to discuss further if needed. Other doctors I have dealt with sometimes take offence to a patient expressing a single thought about their own health. To me, 58 year old male, I find his approach to medicine most refreshing and would only hope that more like him eventually come to practice in Manitoba. Thank you.

Amazing doctor and really is interested in doing what's right for his patients. He is at his best with kids. My boys get excited about going for appointments.
