What a great Doctor. Taking care of our family since he came to steinbach. He graciously took on my elderly parents as well in the resent past . He is a very caring person. Very helpful and supportive even when I went to Germany for back surgery.

Dr. Ilchyna has been my family doctor since I was born. He is the most understanding and caring doctor I’ve ever met. He is diligent, responsible, and above all else, a fountain of knowledge. He is always open to run through explanations and options. He does tend to run later for appointments, simply because he is exactly what a doctor should exemplify. He takes time with his patients, leaves no stone unturned, and does everything to make you feel more comfortable while remaining professional. Whomever wrote that he only focuses on bandages rather than fixes is absolutely incorrect. There is no doctor I would rather see and if/when he retires, I will be going to whomever he recommends.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ilychna for 15 years and have nothing but positive things to say about him.
He is extremely patient and caring and has gone above and beyond for me and has helped diagnose and address concerns I was having. He is also fantastic with my teenage son, he puts him at ease and my son is extremely comfortable discussing both his physical and mental health with him. I know at some point he will have to retire but I hope it doesn't happen for years, I can't imagine getting such good care with someone else.

Terrible for anything more than basics. Does not understand how to escalate issues and ensure the right specialists are engaged with anything resembling urgency. Throws the football over the fence and doesn't care if there is anyone to catch it. He needs to learn to focus on real fixes not bandages. Or maybe just actually care about patient recovery and not getting them out the door.

I have been seeing Dr. Ilchyna for many years now and he is amazing. He has always listened to my concerns, and takes time to discuss my medications and how they work with me. He also practices very patient-centered care, and asks me what I would like to get out of my treatment and takes that into consideration when coming up with a plan. Overall he is a great listener and will take extra time during appointments to make sure he has a full picture of whatever concerns you have. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that his wait times are a bit long and your appointments might be a bit late, although I think it is worth it when he listens so well and takes everything into consideration.

Dr. Ilchyna is down to earth, a great listener
and will not prescribe unnecessary 'meds' and yet so friendly and is very happy to see you, great with my kids as well. I have witnessed his very respectful and caring treatment of the vulnerable and has gone out of his way to accomodate. Only complaint is he is usually booked up well in advance.

Great doctor I had high blood pressure with my baby he sended me immediately to wp to have a fetal assement where the next day I delivered my 2 pound baby boy thank you dr illchyna

Dr. Ilchyna is a wonderful doctor. He is very helpful and thorough and listens to all our concerns. It is so rare now to find a doctor who genuinely cares about their patients. Dr. Ilchyna is definitely one of them.
