Arrived at Minnedosa hospital after a night of acute pain. Due to the Covid pandemic the hospital was on lock down but was promptly seen to by staff. Full blood work, abdominal xrays, IV and pain killers were quickly administered. Dr. Onyshko diagnosed me with kidney stones and admitted me. Hospital was a small rural one but I was treated very well with thorough exam. Thank you to the staff and the doctor.

Thankfully Dr. Onyshko was the Dr. on call on a Sunday when I ended up at the hospital in emergency. He is an excellent diagnostician, listens and asks questions patiently and then proceeds to explain exactly what the problem is and successfully treats the pain. Yes, he is a busy Dr. but truly, our little town is extremely lucky to have a Dr. of his caliber stay and not move on like many others have over the years.

I went to the hospital to get my cast removed, and he took 3 hours to arrive, and when he finally did, he cut my leg and foot with the saw used to cut the cast!!

DR.DAN ONYSHKO talks to you as a person,not just a patient.He has always made me feel like no question was a stupid question and has always made me feel comfortable no matter what the situation was.And for the times he "MAY" have seemed rushed......don't we all at times.Minnedosa has a wonderful medical facility and you are not just a number on a medical bracelet. Small town care is a wonderful thing,and Doctors Like Dan Onyshko make the differnce in small town and big city facilities.THANKS to DOCTOR DAN for being the best he can be and having excellent staff that helps along the way and should not go unmentioned!

Dan does seem a bit rushed at times...but his medical knowledge makes up for this small aspect of care. He is awqre of the limitations in Minnedosa and does not hesitate to use all the available resources in Manitoba.

Dan is a doctor who allows patients to have a great deal of participation in their treatment plan. He takes time with patients and offers choices. I appreciate this very much!

I agree that Dr Dan is very open to alternative medicine. But I have often found him rushed, and I get the feeling is trying to get my appointment done a few minutes early, so he can make up for the other appointments that have gone past their alloted times. When he first started working in Minnedosa, he was much more relaxed.
