My experien ce was before we all had the internet at the tip of our fingers. I was young with my first child. Sinha was cold, did not explain anything , and would make me feel like an inconvejicend when every I asked a question. When I needed a procedure done she had me squat in the middle of the examination room and insert. Not a positive experience and would never recommend. The only thing she did was comment on what a big baby he was . Wish I knew then what I know now, that we can speak up and stand up for ourselves and our rights.

In 2014 I had heavy bleeding for weeks sometimes months at a time, often with great pain. My GP referred me to Dr. Sinha who did a biopsy that was inconclusive and then a D&C. I was told to "wait a few years for menopause" to fix the problem. I returned 3 more times in 2014 with the same problems, my doctor gave me antibiotics as it presented like a bladder infection and referred me to Dr. Sinha. In January 2015 I went to the ER with extreme pain and they did a CT scan and found a 10" mass. I was actually passing 2 grapefruit size balls which when tested were positive for Uterine Leiomyosarcoma, stage 4 -- a very rare and incurable cancer. Dr. Sinha is the head of gynecology at Victoria Hospital and when I spoke with her at the ER she didn't believe what I told her!!! When the ER did a gynecology call out there was no answer and they were later told to fax the info and they would respond the next day! I passed 2 four inch "fibroids", it felt like I was in labour for a week and Dr. Sinha didn't believe me! The fibroids were actually cancerous tumours. Once I was finally referred to Cancer Care they acted quickly and thankfully I am still here, they originally only gave me 6 months. I will still die from this disease, and chemo and surgery are the worse things imaginable, but they buy me time. If Dr. Sinha had caught this even a few months earlier my prognosis would be much better than it is. Go somewhere else, anywhere else!

I give Dr. Meera Sinha 5 stars, all good things to say about this gynecologist. I have a 27 year old son today because of her expertise. My son was delivered as an emergency C-Section, because of the drop in his heart rate during delivery. Her knowledge and expertise are impeccable, and her willingness to go through lengths in her profession . I still thank this Dr. today. Although as I still say 5 stars for this Dr. Sinha all the way.

Dr. Sinha maybe isn't the most "friendliest", but I am not at the dr to make friends. I have had 3 abnormal paps, and she scheduled me for surgery and kindly walked me through what would happen before, during and after the procedure. I really like her secretary as well, she is awesome!

I have never rated a doctor but I wanted to warn you. I was referred to Dr.Sinha for a routine colposcopy as I had two abnormal pap tests. First off the office was dingy and dirty looking. I found Dr.Sinha very insensitive. I asked her to walk me through the procedure as she was performing it, and she asked me if I read the pamphlet and did not walk me through it as I asked. I was extremely uncomfortable. I would NOT go back to this doctor. I felt like an animal being poked and prodded.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my spouse, She went in as she has been hemoraging everytime she has her cycle, and the cycles have been for weeks and months at a time; she is continually in pain due to them and this "doctor" tells her "I don't see a problem" "you are too young to be going through this and to be looking at a hysterectomy. I am advising this moment if any thing happens to her becasuse of this, sinha will have such a lawsuit on her hands she won't know what hit her.

I was referred to Dr Sinha and I found her very professional and would recommend he r to anyone. If it wasn't for her insistence that my lymph nodes be tested I might not be here today.
She And her staff went out of there way to,make sure I received the correct care I thought I should write this as it is a shame that most people only write when they have a bad experience.

This doctor refused my family doctor's referral, and returned it with written notes stating "too heavy for Dr sinha" and "bariatric - too heavy for table???". Yes, I am fat and weigh almost 300lbs, but this doesn't not and should not exclude me from receiving appropriate medical care. I am glad that the referral was denied because, based on other's reviews, I would have had an even worse experience in person with this "doctor". ALL people deserve proper, thorough and timely medical care, and denying someone this based on their weight violates proper professional medical ethics. Thought I should share this to warn others.

I was referred to Dr. Sinha by my family doctor. I had read some reviews before I went so I was expecting the worst. I was so wrong! Dr. Sinha was very attentive and personable. She did the colposcopy and she said it would hurt. And it really did! So she stopped. She said she's sure she got enough. Well, she did and I needed a cone biopsy. She was very informative. She explained everything to my husband and myself. When I had the cone biopsy, she was wonderful as well. She came to see me after and told my husband to pamper me for the next 2-3 weeks. LOL When we went for the results, she was genuinely pleased that my margins were negative. I can not say enough of how great she is.
