Dr. Boyd was the best doctor out there. I saw her for when I was about 3 until I was about 35 and she had to leave due to illness. My entire family (great grandma, grandma, mother and father, sisters and nieces and nephews and my daughter) all went to doctor Boyd until she was done practice. She was very knowledgeable but most importantly she truly cared about her patients and truly listened. She went above and beyond what a doctor needs to do. She would call my house at 9pm with results and I would wonder and ask why she is still working. She was the best doctor out there and I wish she was still my family doctor. I have now been to 4-5 different doctors since she left and no one will ever be the same. I liked her staff- Tina you were great. I always got in when i needed to. I hope she is doing well and I miss you doctor Boyd!! I will leave my name as i think it is crazy to leave anonymous. Thanks for everything Doctor Boyd! We love you!

I can not begin to thank Dr. Boyd enough for all the help she has given me in the last 22 years. I started seeing her whenI was just 6 and now my husband and son were also patience. I am very sad to hear she is no longer pacting. I can't even think of looking for a new Dr. No one else can compare to her. She is truly the best Dr. out there. I hope you are alright Dr. Boyd and we miss you so much!

I have been a patient of Dr. Boyd's for over 25 years. I can't Thank her enough for all she has done for me and meant to me. 17 years ago I my first born died at a day old. Dr. Boyd showed so much compassion, she was calling me at home to check up on me, and just couldn't do enough. How many doctors out there do that? Not very many. I can't believe some of the rude comments made by some of you people. Tina, I read your comments and I back you all the way. The receptionists there have a very tough job to do, and I think are doing a great job. Karen, you are in my heart and I wish you well. I will miss you. Pat M

I have been with Karen for nearly 30 years & I am SO going to miss her! My husband has been with her 20 years & our son for 17. She has not only been my doctor, but my friend & confidante...she has helped me thru some terribly rough times..I wish I could now help her. I am afraid I won't be able to find another family doctor like her, she is one of a kind.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boyd's for over 30 years. She is very knowledgable and knows her stuff. She listens to you and always checks your chart before she begins. I don't think I know of any other doctor that will give you a 5 min window at the last minute when you have a problem. I hear that she will be closing her practice due to illness. I hope she is going to be fine. The only problem I will be having, is how will I find another doctor with her pleasant bed side manner, knowledge, etc. Staff can be a bit offish, however, I always ask for Wendy and she is great.

I do not wish to register and this is the only way to respond to the last rating of 2/10/08. I am a physician. It's ironic that doctors have to go to such lengths to protect patient confidentiality and yet this site can reveal all and sundry about the physician's own medical issues. Bad form, regardless of intent.

Does anyone know what the heck is up?? Dr. Boyd has cancelled her appointments and has stated that her patients should be actively looking for a new family doctor. Is she retiring? Seems strange to drop everything without any reasonable notice??? Hope everything is alright with her health she has been my doctor forever and I'm sure going to miss her.

I used to highly respect and appreciate Dr. Boyd as a fantastic physician, however, with her reduced time (possibly aiming for retirement?) I can no longer give such compliments. I feel as if I am not being taken seriously, and am being dismissed without actually being listened to. I understand that she is extremely busy and has many demands on her, but she has made a commitment by taking me on as a patient and I do not feel that it is being upheld.

I have been seeing Dr. Boyd for over 20 years now and have NEVER had a problem. I find her to be a fantastic doctor. She's always been there for me when I have need her. As for the comments on her staff I haven't had an issue with them? Tina - if you're still out there - you spoiled us!!!!!!!!!! LOL We know what we are missing since you left.
