I have been with Dr. Heidenreich since he took over his current practice and have found him to be both knowledgeable and helpful. He is also both thorough and strict in his procedure and looks upon prescribed treatment as teamwork between us. He has my complete trust.

He is a knowledgeable doctor, and cares for his patients of course if you don't follow the recommendations or medications asks you to act responsibly which is really not bad. He keeps himself informed and current even though he doesn't like computers. I rather have someone ethical than an unethical computer geek

tells you that you are allowed to only ask one question per visit in the last year. Is that money hungry or a sign of ineptness. is very abrupt and quite condescending if more is asked of him. Not sure what his problem is but he is supposed to be there for his patients care. Do not dare to ask a question when he is entering your info on the computer as I have been told to basically be quiet. What gives with that. when I worked I could multi-task and feel that my doctor should be able to also. Maybe retirement should be in the future if he can't handle more than one thing at once.

Dr. Heidenreigh has been my doctor for a number of years. I've always had a good experience with him, he has been professional and unbias over the years when I told him I smoked pot and dating women. When i was a teenager he gave me free samples of birth control (I never had to pay for a prescription, he would just give me samples). I've never felt uncomfortable around him, he has always taken my ailments seriously and is very willing to explain the medication or ailments to me.

Stay away form this Dr. He found out from his receptionist that I was asking if any of the other Dr.'s in the center were taking new patients ( I was tired of his BS). He told me that he would no longer be my DR. and gave me the boot, this is one visit after he told me I couldn't go to any more walk in clinics because h was my Dr. and I had to see him & only him. It would appear he should retire ... for all the reason (unsupportive, not receptive to questions, argumentative, failing memory, etc .) as stated on this site. He tries to push you out as quick as possible, it would appear he is more concerned with the money, then with medicine.

Dr. Heidenreich is very unsupportive, makes appointments and when you arrive he claims to have no time to discuss anything. He will tell you that you have to get refills at only one pharmacy and if you were to go to another one you have to call him first??? I went with my elderly mother for her appointment and he made it very clear that he was not happy that I (her daughter) was with her. He will not answer any questions regarding tests or medication and will tell you that the subject is closed if you try to pursue questioning. Do not use this doctor for anything...I totally believe all the other negative comments that have been said about him

Dr. Heidenreich spent more time telling us about his trip to Kelowna than he was willing to spend discussing my father's worsening condition due to Diabetes. My father has had sugars in the 20's for month's and has been treated with oral medications. He has had a stroke, deteriorated vision, gross loss of body mass, proteinuria, constant fatigue and a decreased vitality, but is only now going to see an Endocrinoligist to begin insulin treatment. Why did this not start long ago? How long can my father last with sugars in the 20's? Why can't Dr. Heidenreich prescribe Insulin? Do we need a Diabetic emergency before my father's condition is taken seriously? Dr. Heidenreich is not receptive to questions, and left us angry and disappointed with our last appointment, especially since we waited 1hr20min to be seen. This is unacceptable!

My father is a patient of Dr H and we are desperately trying to find him another one. He ended up in the hospital 3 times in 3 months. The last time he almost died because this doctor gave him the wrong dosage of a prescription. He is very argumentative. Told us on the last visit (1/11/2012)that he didn't have time to fill out my Dad's prescriptions. This was after he was late 40 mintues for the appt.I told him that he needed this medication. He got flustered and then sat down and filled them out. He is also very difficult to understand. When I ask him to repeat something or I reiterate what he has said he ignores me until I have to ask him again. I really think that it is time that he retires.
