Lacking in thoroughness and follow through. I was seen because of ongoing GI problems of 2+ wks duration. Told to wait a week, see if it clears up. Of my own volition I called a Gastroenterologist, was seen, tested and screened, and am being treated for diverticulitis, a bacterial infection in the GI tract. Knowing my history of such flare ups,and the potential seriousness of such infections, it seemed illogical and careless to suggest I wait another week. Very disappointing. I am actively looking for another doctor.
