unbelieveable, the receptionist is snippy. The wait is three weeks for an appointment and when you get there you wait 60-90 mins for your appointment! Often times these days I don't even get to see the professional it's some intern. NO THANKS! We go to the walk-in clinic if we need care anymore.

The worst doctor I have ever visited, always hours late, telephone always busy, staff lost referals. He failed to acknowledge issues, and failed to diagnose very simple disease. I rarely say negative things about anyone, but really need to warn others to stay away. I am surprised there are any positive comments, as most people in the area do not speak highly of his practise.

I am not very Happy with Dr. Lane at all. I Drive 2 hours from my house to get to his office and then always end up waiting for at least an hour in the waiting room.I was in a very bad car accident 2 years ago and even though i kept going back to him all he would do is give me more medication to deal with the pain not to fix it. I am finally going for surgery which should have been done 2 years ago and because he left me like that for so long it is now alot more complicated then it would have been. I have to keep calling the office to make sure that the requests for specialist have been sent otherwise it doesn't get done.Very Disappointed and i would not recommend Dr. Lane to anyone !!!

I feel let down. I applied through the National Benefit Authority, a tax credit for a foot previously broken in five places. Dr. Lane timed me going as fast as I could up and down his halls twice, in view of other patients and staff. I found this to be quite embarrassing. And was then told from the reading on the stopwatch, "Well, that's pretty good". And did not qualify. I also showed doctor Lane a lesion on my arm. He said, "That's nothing, I'll freeze it sometime if you want". I went to see a doctor at the after hours clinic, who then sent me to a surgeon and dermatologist. This lesion turned out to be Basil Cell Carcinoma, requiring seven stitches. Yes I feel let down.

Not only is he hours behind but on three occasions he never even bothered to show up. He walks in whenever he feels like and has no concept that other people have obligations as well. If he was on time he wouldn't have to rush his patients and make them feel uncomfortble.

Dr. Lane is extremely UNHELPFUL! We very rarely need a doctor, but when we did need one he was completely useless. I spent 12 months trying to tell him my son's bowel movements were not normal. He referred us to Dr. Hazlett in Barrie and she did absolutely nothing except charge OHIP for our visits. She didn't even run any tests on our son. After 18 months of my son living with this problem I finally took him to Sick Kids in Toronto. They recognized the problem and referred us to another doctor, Dr. Chen in Barrie who was fantastic and my son was immediately treated. So for all the time I spent telling Dr. Lane that my son's bowel movements were not normal....it took 18months to finally get a result via Sick Kids to discover my little boy had worms! My neice had a bad stomach ache, Dr. Lane sent her home and said it was nothing. My niece was taken to RVH in Barrie and was rushed in to surgery to have her appendix removed. So you judge if you really want him as your doctor!

Staff is wonderful. Dr. Lane is never on time even for the first appointment of the day. He has been a wonderful family doctor with great bedside manner.
