You either love her or dislike her. She’s great for me

Dr. Sickert has been my doctor for over 20 years and during that time she has been amazing. She readily referred me to specialists when needed, sympathetically supported me through depression, frankly discussed my many serious illnesses, and took time to really listen to any questions or concerns I might have. She is always on the forefront of recommending new vaccines and treatments. She is interested in me the person, not just me the patient and always asks about family at annual checkups. Her relationship with her patients is mirrored in her relationship with Brenda her very able, pleasant assistant. I feel most fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Sickert is kind & compassionate.She has a strong knowledge base and is down to earth. Brenda her receptionist is also wonderful.

A number of years ago I was a patient if Dr.sickert. I suffered from fatigue, and her answer was I was getting older, I was 39. She was away and a Dr. Was replacing her, and I told him I was tired all the time and just couldn't get a handle on it. He sent me for blood test and in a few days called and told me I was hypo thyroid.. One little pill a day changed my life, I never returned to Dr. Sickert, lost total confidence in her ability.

Dr Sickert has always taken my questions and clarified info for me. She appreciates that the fact I try to be as healthy as I can be to create a perfect 2 way relationship. On one busy day when I was in distress, Brenda the amazing receptionist knew I needed to see the Dr and told me to come in at the end of the day. I was the last to be seen and it was close to 7 pm. That kind of caring is very hard to find. I appreciated that with all my heart.

Incompetent in some areas of care, rude if she’s having a bad day. Utilized her opinion to diagnose at times, instead of specialist reports and concrete results. Forgetful and does not review patient file prior to visit.

Dr. Sickert has been my doctor for over 25 years. I rely on her and trust her judgement completely. Brenda is also very helpful and will ensure that I can see Helga when I need to see her. Although I may have to wait on busy days, this is a very fair trade-off for being able to see her when I need attention. I can't say enough good things about either Dr. Sickert or Brenda.

I am so grateful I found Dr Sickert 26 years ago when pregnant with my first child. She remains the primary Dr to myself, my adult daughters and their father. She is actually one of my most important supports in my life. Not quite sure where I'd be without her care. She is very unique in running a practice where 10 min appt is not adhered to if patient needs more. I have always felt respected and listened to, and have never been made to feel bad if I need extra time, and I am one of those people who often does need extra time. Dr Sickert generally looks at the larger picture behind issues. She's crazy smart, very prompt and helpfull with referrals, and she has a sense of humour! I must mention that Brenda, her medical secretary is also amazing. She is so warm, so personable and approachable. And flexible! These two women make a fabulous team, no hierarchy - no attitudes of superiority. I can't say enough how lucky I feel.

She has been my physician ever since she started at the meadowood clinic. Even though her hours went part time she has always been able to fit me in with the help the ever friendly Brenda! I was going through a bad time and I would call in the morning and Brenda would say can you come today at such and such a time. I never minded waiting and will be so sorry the day she decides to retire.💝
