I don't know about the other comment. When I took my daughter to see Dr. Jones for her knee, he was so good with her. She needed to have some fluid drained out of her knee and she was scared to death. He helped to reassure her that it would be okay. He was honest with her and said that she would feel some pain but it shouldn't be too bad. He even made her laugh by telling her a joke, which really helped her settle down. She was 14 when this happened. I also had to take my 13 year old son to him for a problem with his leg. Dr. Jones once again made my son feel relaxed and he explained in detail what we needed to do for both of my kids. I then went to him for my back and after being told that I needed surgery, he didn't agree with that opinion. I did exactly what he said, and I'm fine, he saved me from surgery that I didn't need. I think that he is the best doctor I have been too for both children and adults. I would have posted this sooner but I didn't know about this site.

I recently took my son to see Dr. Jones for a broken bone in his hand. Its a scary thing for a 11 year old to deal with. Dr. Jones has an unfriendly bedside manner. Absoloutely no compassion for his young patients. It was as if he is afraid to talk; either that, or he is so pompous that he is conveys an inconvienced attitude to his patients. I was upset at his entire demeanor with my son. We have no plans to return to " Doctor " in the future. I have heard MANY unflattering reports from others who have been to see Dr. Jones- now I believe them.
