He's a bit curt but he's also, typically, rather busy. I've been with him for over five years and he's generally reasonable and professional. I think he's just shy. Good for Spanish speaking clients and children.

Dr.Barajas is very serious at first and probably (looks like) he just wants to you go straight foward to what you went there for, however if you ask questions and you know what you're talking about and put yourself out there and give yourself your position and talk firmly he will inform and try to clear any questions you have, his staff is very nice and helpful to what I have experienced with them, until now I have not yet have any issues with Dr. Barajas or his staff and I've been his patient for over a year. I never have to wait to be helped, even in walkings they are very quick and get you in. He is very nice, sometimes quiet but nice. I like how he enforces and explains the issues that most Americans are going through with one being Obesity and how he is very firm on taking that very serious and letting his patients know how serious it is, it's not just because of apperance, for future concerns erc... I would recommend this Dr. (just be firm with your ideas/questions)

After reading all of these comments I can't believe how accurate they are when describing Dr. Barajas. His bedside manner does need improvement it makes the patient feel uncomfortable. I was his patient for 3 yrs--i know why so long-- and although there were somethings that his alternative med helped i.e. sleep deprivation and chronic fatigue, I felt cheated when I discovered many of these "natural pills" I was taking I could have purchased at my local GNC at a cheaper price. I literally spent hundreds of dollars in out of pocket expenses following his alt. med plan. His staff consists of 2 rude college girls who clearly lack the professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail needed when dealing with billing issues, medical referrals and patient care. On several occasions I've had to call them back to obtain corrections/clarifications especially on the referrals. I felt like a parent double checking their hwk. Do not waste your time like I did find a better doctor

Dr. Barajas probably the most unprofessional and unknowledgable doctor I have met. His methods of diagnosing patients is random. I have seen this doctor twice and both times I leave with unanswered questions and a wrong dignosis. He dx me with Asthma without testing me. I suffer from allergies and I had no shortness of breath to prescribe me an inhaler. The one thing he surely wanted to express is the damn SALIVA test. Which cost too. Waste of money, to end up reading results I had already told him I had from previous doctors. His staff can be friendly at times but extremely rude on the phone. There inability to read documents and transfer information to insurances is not their expertise. Twice my mother had issues with wrong MR# being used and wrong indications of ICD 9 codes.Ohhh and if you need a referral for tests GOOD LUCK!! So much for their EHR system. Overall, Dr. Barajas has a strange and rude personality that makes for an uncomfortable patient and doctor relationship.

I know everybody is coming down on this guy but mostly it's because they don't like him personally or his bedside manor. I could care less about small talk or being put at ease. Just diagnose and recommend a course of action. That he did. He's not my friend, my shrink or my priest. He's my doctor and he does a good job.

So called "DR." Barajas and staff were rude, curt, unprofessional, insenitive, & arrogant. Having the balls to keep sending me bills even after robbing my insurance. I asked how much visits were & they snapped @ me saying they didnt know until the it went thru insurance. He talked down at me (i'm diabetic 79 yr old!) put me on a servere diet without first doing blood tests. I was very weak, but I did my best & stucked to it until I saw him again! just to be rudely treated and now fighting his outrageous bill. He is a FAKE DOCTOR & his staff of women only care about looking like fashion models. They are not into helping patients but robbing them to make money!

(I am not giving specific details to protect my anonymity) In the first visit, he was very curt, unfriendly and actually had his hand on the door before I was finished asking questions (mind you I only saw him for a few minutes). I had a follow-up where when I reported a side-effect I had with a drug, he immediately said it was not a side effect--however, every website I have been to since then listed it as such. The WORST thing, however, was that he incorrectly told me that a much safer drug for me was not appropriate for me to take--and this too was proven wrong and verified by several other doctors and websites. Needless to say I changed doctors promptly after this glaring bit of incompetency.

Dr. Barajas never said "Hello" let alone provide me thorough advice. I had never seen him before, he walked in the room, stared at me awkwardly and said, "Yes?" It was as if I were bothering him. I needed advice about travel vaccines, and he has given me 3 different interpretations about what I need over 2 visits and 1 phone call. In addition, his office has poorly handled a referral to my therapist. My therapists office even noted that they "always" have problems with Dr. Barajas' referrals. The girls that work at the office are nice, but there is a general air of indifference and unprofessionalism about the entire experience. I am switching Dr's to make sure I get sound care.

My husband was a one time patient of Dr. Barajas because of his lack of professionalism. My husband had some blood work done but was never contacted about the results. My husband also complained about Dr. Barajas' arrogance and indifference.
