I was a patient of Dr. Lashley's when the practice was near Green Acres and then moved to Central Ave. I now have two daughters a 3 year old and a 7 month old that have had Dr. Lashley as their doctor since birth. I am so grateful for Dr. Lashley's knowledge and helpfulness. It takes a good doctor to give helpful advice. It takes a great doctor to know when he/she doesn't know everything and came make a referral to a specialist when necessary. Dr. Lashley was able to send me to a pediatric gyn when I was in the fifth grade and really made an impact on my life.
Dr. Lashley called me in the hospital when I had my first daughter and was feeling alone and it made me feel as if someone cared. When I had my 2nd daughter Dr. Lashley came to check her out even though it was Christmas.

Dr. Lashley has a vast knowledge and truly cares about his patients. He does not unnessarily order antibiotics when not needed. I appreciate this.

Recently, I brought my 7 month old to Dr. Lashley and she had very high fevers. Dr. Lashley diagnosed her with a stomach virus. He was right on target and in a couple days she was feeling much better and her fever was down. Dr. Lashley's reassurance was extremely helpful and allowed me to stay strong even when my daughter was shivering and had high fever. I am grateful that Dr. Lashley even called me when he was having hospital hours and was not in the office at the time I called.

Only a vindictive person would write a negative report about this office .because bits not true.

Good doctors awful front office staff (brown skin, Jamaican or Dominican lady) has a horrible attitude. I'm not sure why you have to pay $10 for medical records. I used to love this place lately they haven't been performing well.

I have been taking my daughter to this office for years, the Doctors are good doctors but the front end staff are not professionals! I never understand the billing process but every time I go there is a new bill balance from this place. My girlfriend tells me that she takes her daughter to a pediatrician and never pays all of these out of pocket copays ( and they both have similar problems) I pay on my balance every visit. One day I called to see if my child can be seen and the Margareta lady up front tells me no she can not be seen because of this balance. Mind you they let the bill pile up and then hit you with you have an outstanding balance! 2009 bill I get an invoice three years later! Doctors and NP is good but your staff

I am so surprised by some of the negative comments about this practice. I've been taking my daughter there since birth and they have always been extremely helpful, professional, and have had a short wait time. I think they are great!

I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The staff is rude and unhelpful, the wait time is insanely long, both in the waiting room and in the exam room, and both Dr. Lashley and Dr. Berman's attitudes are terrible. It seems that the office is only run by the almighty dollar. They never spend more than 5 minutes with you-even if you have concerns. You are always rushed out the door. I had an experience where I was concerned about my son's health after he was sick for many days. I had left numerous messages with the front desk for the doctor to call me back. I never received a call. We are talking about a child's health! After advising the office that I would be switching practices, they shrugged me off. I have never had this type of experience with a healthcare provider's office. As a healthcare employee myself for many years, this experience, to me, was beyond negligible. Avoid this practice!

I have been using got Dr. Lashley since my daughter was born. She is now 21 and I think he's a fantastic doctor! Dr. Berman is also excellent! They Always there if you need them ,very easy to talk to. Great at listening to your concerns or questions. Always calls back if you leave & message. If its after hours they get message & call back ASAP . Obviously if I stayed 21 years they have to be good , because my daughter is The most important person in the world to me. Her health is top priority! That's why I stayed with them for so long :). Angela Bleuler

Was never really impressed with the office. Hated that they were often reluctant to put on the AC. Dr. Lashley seems to be more grounded than Berman. Berman seems arrogant. I became increasingly dissatisfied with them over the years. Toys are usually filthy and are scattered all over the floor. Once one of the workers attempted to give me a filthy copy of my records with dirty fingerprints all over the copy. About the dirty toys that were scattered all over the floor at about 9:00 a.m. with no patients in the room? Dr. Berman could not handle the critique. Pompous! In talking to my fellow Valley Streamers, they have similar complaints. One said her child had an ear infection and that Berman said there was none. That reminded me of an ear infection my daughter had and she used some kind of device to remove the wax and called in staff to hold my daughter down. She treated my daughter like a piece of meat. Dr. Berman seems to be the problem.

If you are not pro-vax this is not the place for you. He is very condescending and abrasive. He started off very friendly but once you begin to ask questions he gets annoyed/rushes you. He actually asked me, "what do you want me to do?" after I expressed concern about my child having a possible ear infection (due to extreme irritability and tugging of the ear). When he didn't find any fluid, he just cold walked out of the room as if he had better things to do. I had to interrupt someone else's visit just to ask, "do you have any suggestions/what should I do?" and he said "I don't know what to tell you." I was appalled and shocked by his lack of concern and compassion. He didn't look further into what was causing the irritability/crying spells. He simply did not care. AVOID THIS DR AND HIS PARTNER DR. BERMAN if you are looking for empathic DRs who are truly vested (NOT INVE$TED) in your children....like so many other MD offices they are sadly running this place like a business :(
