Dr Gooi is knowledgeable, kind and thorough. He does not sugar coat his message, or tiptoe around the issue but offers exceptional care and guidance. He genuinely cares about his patients, and their families.

Dr Gooi’s care and compassion for his patients is second to none. He listens, asks relevant questions and goes far above and beyond to find every resource available. He will not tolerate nonsense and his message is direct, but he puts his patients’s health, and well being above all.

The services that I receive from Dr. Gooi is excellent. Dr. Gooi and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to friendly and friends.

Provides no actual help and should not be in the medical profession. Has caused a lot of mental health problems for his patients

Was my close friends Dr. For several years, he had him on a ridiculous amount of Opiates, and just kept refilling the script when they weren't even helping him. Another time I was there waiting to see a walk in Dr. And Dr. Gooi comes out and gives the receptionist a triplicate for the patient. Either a massive coincidence or he writes triplicates for pretty much anyone. If you need a triplicate then go see him, but don't use him just to get your fix. He's not accepting patients anyway. Also when I did get in to the walk in Doctor to see him about my Tonsilitis, he prescribed me some very mild painkillers & antibiotics and then called Manitoba Health to tell them I was "drug seeking" after I filled the prescriptions. I didn't even ask for painkillers he just knew that Tonsilitis is very painful (as would anyone who's ever had it, especially when your tonsils are covered in a white disgusting coating that ended up falling off after the antibiotics). Now I am banned from the clinic like wth? The whole clinic is a mess, front desk staff is rude, drs. Make promises they can't keep. Stay away unless like I said you can get in and want a triplicate. But beware about filling it.

Front staff is a joke who like to give out personal information to friends about patients. Broke up with an Ex and ex’s mom was friends with one of them and told them all about my personal health information.
Than I had a hell of a time getting in when I needed to see him and explained to him once i got in that I couldn’t get in when I needed to. He knew nothing about the issues and we couldn’t prove his front desk lady spilled information about me. Great doc very helpful but due to personal reasons found a new doctor so I could feel at ease to go and not have personal info spilled out about me

Went to dr Hopi for many years. Had to find another dr when he decided to cut back. Fortunately I found another dr. Who sent me to a liver specialist. I had problems with my liver counts for many years. Dr gooi told me I must be drinking too much. Not true. I was a glass of wine person at social events. The liver specialist investigated my problem and found I have an autoimune disease attacking my liver. The specialist was very concerned that this had never been properly looked after. I had trusted dr gooi and believed he was interested in my health. He either didnt care or didn’t have the skills to diagnose a life threatening. situation. So disillusioned.
