I went to Dr.Smith for 14 years, I consider him to be one of the best. I moved away unfortunately, and have been to a few doctors since, but Roy is still one of the best.

Dr.Smith seems to make the time of visits more important than listening to patients. He misses diagnosis because he does not listen. Also, he gives patients medications without first doing proper blood tests.I think it is time Dr.Smith looks at his way of doing medicine.

I find Dr Smith very helpful and considerate. He asks questions to try to find a problem, however I have asked about knee surgury and he replies not at this time. No long waits to see him.

My parents and myself used to go to Dr Smith, until he released records / letter of patient committal over a public fax to my sister who was not the power of attorney. He missed the diagnosis of cancer in my mother which formed a lump on her face and wound it's way down her through and up to her brain. How can you miss a lump the size of a golf ball on a persons jaw and not see the enlongated mass down her throat? It was metastizied from Kidney cancer..... so the cancer was long developed and he did not catch it. My mother was fastidious in her annual appointments. She liked him....... he failed her...... and our family.

Dr. Smith has been my family doctor for many years and I would not hesitate to recommend him as a family doctor. He always has a smile, is understanding and a good listener. His receptionist Shelley could learn from his people skills. Shelley has very little patience is not a people person, should not be working with the public.

Dr. Smith has missed at least 3 important diagnoses by not referring to a specialist. I consider him dangerous. If he is your doctor and you have a nagging problem that he is telling you is nothing, go with your gut and get a second opinion - your life is much more important than someones ego.

Dr. Smith has been my doctor for as long as I can remember. I never feel rushed with him. He always takes the time to talk about any medical concerns I may be having. He takes the time to get to know you and your history and does not try to push any thing on you if you are not comfortable with it. He always weighs out the correct treatment options for your specific case. I couldn't imagine having to see anyone else. It will be a sad day for me when he decided to retire.
