I have had many eye surgeries, checkups, and eye exams. This, my first visit to Bittings in Carroll Vision Center, was by far the worst in terms of service. Besides the long wait, the doctor's receptionist was extremely unhelpful, which is probably my chief complaint. I had to order my contacts on my own. As for Bittings, he needs to work on his staff for one, and for two, his own patient communication.

I've been going to this office for years and I have always gone away happy. The Doctors are all friendly and helpful and take the time to answer all questions you may have. The staff are wonderful and make the visit move along smoothly and quickly.

I went to this eye doctor for my children's first eye exam. The secretary was very nice and handled my paperwork very efficiently. My son was 5 years old at the time and needless to say a little nervous. After Dr. Bittings sprayed my son's eyes with solution for his check-up, my son was startled and started to cry. Dr. Bittings screamed at my son! And told him to stop crying and that it doesn't hurt! When I walked out of the room it came to my attention that everyone in the waiting room heard this doctor scream at my son! He may be a knowledgeable eye doctor, but he should NOT be giving eye exams to children. He lacks in people and children skills. Needless to say I found a new eye doctor for my children.

I liked this doctor. He was prompt and friendly and his staff was great! I would definitely recommend him to other people. I feel like I had a very thorough exam.
