The office visit was 3 hours, and he saw my father for 15 min. I placed a call into him twice to get some information regarding my father's care , and I never received a call back. He's the worst!!! I finally convinced my father to change doctors. If you're considering using him as your primary care physician think twice!!

I am writing this review as I sit in Dr. Kuponiyi's office annoyed because my appointment time was for 12:00p and it is now 1:49p. I have been a patient of his for three years now, and every single visit is the same outcome… Extremely long wait times, no apology and a disoriented staff that pays no attention to yo and treats you like a dollar sign. All I needed was a referral to see a specialist, however because I was a month over the yearly visit requirement, they insisted that I need to come in and be seen. this will be my last visit here!!!!

He doesn't seem to be smart and knowledgeable. Instead of blood tests he does his own in house analysis which doesn't give you the whole problem or reason why you are there. Knowing a patient is unable to articulate what is going on with their health accepts " I'm feeling fine" from a patient and then he goes about conducting a yearly checkup with each visit. He's not on time and never apologies for being late. You have to chase him down to get a prescription written.

Not a Smart Doctor, have no emotional feelings and Does not bother to call you back at all. You will have to call him 4 times to reach him (only if you are lucky). Do not have much knowledge or experiences. When the patient is at hospital then Does not even bother to consult with the patient's family member. Make all decisions by himself and does not even bother to share that with anybody. We are just a patient for him. We are not live person.

Kuponiyi and staff were always helpful and quick when it came to scheduling. The actual check-up was quick and effortless, but the wait for the check-up was absolutely brutal. Classic case of a physician's office severely over-booking clients. Appointment was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. I arrived at 10:20 a.m. and was taken in at 12:41 p.m. - nearly two-and-a-half hours later. Had I not needed a prescription refill, I would have left.

After waiting 3 hours to see him he doesnt let you get a word in edgewise. His staff is extremly rude and they do not submit medication refills on a timely manner. And the staff often call in the wrong medication to your pharmacy.

I just moved and was in need of a closer dr.Kuponiyi was the closest doctor w/good reviews,BOY WERE THEY WRONG!My ENTIRE experience at this practice was TERRIBLE.The staff's manner was rude, unfriendly,& when they say they are going to do something(in my case call me, like they said they would, when my reports came in)they didn't.I was SHOCKED & DISGUSTED in the way the office is kept.I was scared to let my 3yr old touch the floor. The office was FILLED with patients that had been there for over 2hrs, some people had to stand!I feel the wait is due to jamming too many patients in.More money. You'd think he'd put some toward making an acceptable office!I asked 3 patients while waiting how they liked the dr. ALL were disatisfied. The dr didnt seem to care about me,he rushed me,didnt look carefully at my files, didnt even look @ me or listen to what I was saying,I couldnt get a word in!AND, I FELT VERY VERY DEGRADED BY THE WAY HE SPOKE TO ME ABOUT MY ISSUE.I cried after leaving there!

Dr Kuponiyi saved my life. I am a nurse who contracted a virus from a patient. After over a year of being shouted at, dismissed, failure-to-be treated and told to see a psychiatrist by specialists and my primary care doctor alike, I changed my PCP to Dr K, a family doctor, who saw me, listened to me, read the med reports I brought with me and diagnosed me within the span of twenty minutes. He subsequently wrote me a script for Deborah Heart&Lung where I had 6 hrs of cardio-electrophysiology. Yes, I had to wait to see Dr K. Why? Because he a good doctor and wise who is greatly in demand. Take something to read.

I have nothing but "GOOD" things to say about Dr. Peter Kuponiyi. The reason you may encounter a long wait time is mainly because he takes his time and listens/talks with his patients. There are also times where I have walked in and was seen within 15 mins. The older reviews were posted in 1996/1997, now it being 2012, I have seen a tremendous difference in his staff. Every issue that my wife and I have had has always been diagnosed correctly by Dr. Kuponiyi.....we love him!!!
