No recommendation here. This person was my mom's doctor briefly. Mother was being helped by Hospice but still had to see an MD from time to time because as she took warfarin and had to have blood tested. Every time I took mom in she was asked how was her diabetes. She never had diabetes.
I had explained that due to a stroke mom didn't understand some of her questions and that I could answer her (Jackson's) questions. I was asked on several occasions why Hospice was involved even though I had explained that MORE THAN ONCE.
I just couldn't say " because my mother is dying" in front of mom.
I felt that Dr Jackson ignored me, didn't like any of my questions, did not answer my concerns properly, and was not that concerned. She made appointments with a cardiologist and a urologist without consulting me. I had been mom' caregiver for over a year at that time and was very aware of what was going on with her from day to day.
Her attitude was " I am the dr and you know nothing".

Seemed to have little interest in my complaint. I felt like a number, not like a patient. When I call this office and if she's the only one available, I go somewhere else altogether. I rather go to another office than see her!!! Would not recommend her to anybody! Matter of fact, told several family members that are patients at that office, to never waste their time & money with her.

Great experience, Dr. Jackson was wonderful. She answered all the questions I had without making me feel like an idiot like other Doctors in the past have.

BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD... Dr Jackson has always had a sunny disposition with me. My other family members also benefit from her vast range of medical practice as well. When there where times, I needed to talk about my medical problems, she listened intently. she made me feel like a person. Not just a patient. She treated my medical problems and had me come in for prompt follow up visits. Her suggestions for all of my medical care is always welcome because it always worked and I feel so much better. She is a very kind, courteous, Dr that cares for her patients.

Dr Jackson seemed annoyed as alot of Doctors do, when asked about the side affect of a drug subscribed to my husband and brushed it off. I didn't appreciate her impatience with my husband. Also, do all doctors personally call their patients on their cell phones when they missed appoinstments even after a message is left as to the cancellation of the said appointment? My husband and I found it odd, the personal attention shown to him with regard to the personal call made to him on his cell phone.

She rushed through exam and clearly quit listening after a short while. Stated a number of incorrect "facts" about what she thought I had in order to explain things to me. She had little patience for a patient with questions. She literally had one leg out the door when she asked if I had any more questions. When I did, she left the door open with her leg out while she answered.

My child was sick for two weeks. She started running a fever of 102. Gotten noticeably worse over the two week period. Took her in because her regular dr was closed. Dr. Jackson diagnosed as virus. Needless to say, my child continued to worsen and had to go to her regular dr which she was diagnosed with a severe sinus infection and given antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine. Dr. Jackson gave nothing and child continued to worsen. I always thought if you had a cold for at least two weeks and had not improved but gotten progressively worse, you needed to see a dr because it wasn't going away on it's own. Would not ever go back to her. Ended up spending $30 copay twice = $60. Ridiculous!
