Her staff was extremely rushed almost breathless getting my information and setting me up in the exam room. She came in and rushed her exame. Answered my questions as briefly and as quickly as possible. I felt uncomfortable asking follow up questions. She spent about five or ten minutes with me and moved on to the next patient. I doubt she remembers my visit.

My experience with Dr. Austin was mediocre, but my experience with her support staff was POOR. They failed to process my insurance information in a timely way and I was subsequently billed separately from LabCorp. My prescription plan then contacted Dr. Austin's office directly regarding the necessary completion of a pre-authorization form. Not only did the staff ignore the request for 2 weeks, but when they finally got around to completing it, the staff member neglected to consult my chart/the doctor. Thus, the form was completed with false information and the pre-authorization was denied. Dozens of phone calls and a letter of medical necessity/appeal later, I was finally issued my prescription 6 weeks after my appointment with the doctor. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS PRACTICE.

I always request Dr. Austin for my annual checkups. She is extremely helpful and absolutely follows up on issues- most notably when she noticed an abnormality in my mammogram screenings. We had to play phone tag to get in touch with each other- but she kept trying until she got a hold of me! She answers any sort of question you have (no matter how stupid you might feel!). I highly recommend her.

Absolutely one of the best doctors I have seen in a long time. She read my chart before she saw me. She was VERY proactive to help me. She diagnosed me and treated me without hesitation. I am better than new! Thank you Dr. Austin!

When I went to her the first time I already had pre-cancer. I hadn't gone for several years because my other OBGYN (a man) no longer wanted to do complete exams, and all my problems were either weight or age related. But Dr. Austin was so kind and understanding. She sat and listened, and I never felt rushed or that I was bothering her. When I was ready for surgery they had taken my glasses and I couldn't see a thing, and I was really afraid. She leaned over with her face right in front of mine and told me not to worry, she was right there with me and that everything would be alright, and then she held my hand. I rolled into the operating room feeling that I was getting the best of care. She is very warm and caring and always has the answers I need. I wish I had found her years ago.

Dr. Austin delivered my twins through c-section. She did a wonderful job. Overall, she is very nice and answered all of my questions. She actually took me by the hand and brought me into the OR for the delivery and then announced each baby by name as she delivered them (she asked me their names before the surgery). I felt like she was my friend and not just my doctor. Plus, she is always on time with her appointments, which is nice, especially when you are very uncomfortably pregnant.

Very nice when you are in the office. Never followed up on tests she ordered with results. Never called back when I called with a problem.I think the prctice is too big to give the kind of care that women need.

didnt return my phone call for 3 days until the day before i had an appointment with her. I had been bleeding and cramping for 2 weeks and she brushed it off and just sent me for an ultrasound and didn't order any labs.
