Worst healthcare experience in recent memory – after initial visit I left voice mails and web messages and these were never responded – too busy? careless?
Providers typically bill insurance company and then you receive the explanation of benefits (EOB) stating how much you need to pay the provider (co-pay). The provider then bills you a few weeks later for that amount. In the case of this practice, they have their own policy. They calculate the co-pay and demand payment up front the day of the procedure. I much rather trust my insurance company (Aetna) to tell me how much is my co-payment rather than trusting the rude and unsympathetic staff. I saw a few patients walk-out when they learned that they had to pay 100s. It was a joke in the waiting room as people kept leaving, but they still had plenty of business as they were running behind and the waiting room was full to capacity (including elder diabetics asking for help as they had not eaten for 24 hours in preparation for testing). – Stay away!

Was seen in the coral gables office and did not have to wait to long to be seen. Doctor Gonzalez was only running 10 minutes late and was very thorough. Very knowledgeable and I am pleased with his care and the procedures I underwent. Did not feel anything at all during the colon test or afterwards.

The physician is good, but they need to get better with their office staff, the office staff were giving me an attitude and weren't friendly at all.
