I had a breast reduction from Dr. Bodell. It was in October of 2014. It is now July of 2015. I have hypertrophic scarring that has gotten worse each doctor visit I go to. When I do go to an appointment, he doesn't remember anything about me or my situation.

The only treatment he provided for my scarring was a steroid cream; topicort I believe. Even as things got worse and worse, he simply said "Okay, things are looking good." and sent me on my way. The skin in the area has now become so tight (I don't know if he stitched it too tightly, or the hypertrophic scarring is causing the skin to tighten, or both) that I have horrific and painful stretch marks all over the incisions of my breasts. I look like a patchwork quilt. I will never in my life recommend this doctor to anyone. He doesn't care when you have problems. He's all for quick patients that have zero problems to deal with. He's not personable.

I am probably one of the few women in the world who wholeheartedly regrets her breast reduction.

Dr.Bodell has been great for surgeries on my entire family--hernia, gall bladder, and breast. He was knowlegeable and considerate. He even did a cosmetic closure of my surgical wound.

I saw Mr.Bodell over 10 years ago. At the time, i had spent most of my life with horrific stomach pain. The day i went to see him i was bent over to the floor, unable to stand up straight. He knew right away what was wrong with me. Something that no other docs ever were able to diagnose me with. He directed me properly to someone who could help. He saved my life. Had he not been so helpful, i wouldn't be alive right now. I have a lot to thank him for.

I had lip suction done 5 years ago,I wanted to loose 20lbs fast. I was put in the hospitable for 5 days, for a staph infection. I almost lost my leg. As time went on my thyroid become un active and I gained 40ibs in one month. I now have MRSA from that infection. I HAVE MEDICAL RECORDS TO PROVE THIS. When I consulted him, he was an ass and thought how dare I accuse him of un-sanitary medical instruments and gave me another prescription for pain pills. Chemistry does not lie, does he? I am sure he did intentionally do this but, who ever cleans his operating room or the instruments did not do their job and I will have to pay the price the rest of my life for their negligence!

I saw Dr. Bodell for a breast lump. He did an excisional biopsy on me and told me that day that it was a fatty lipoma(after I had to ask for him to come back and talk to me) and nothing to worry about. He was so sure that he didn't send it off for a frozen section at that time to check for cancer. A week later they called me, told me over the phone I had breast cancer and then made me wait 2 hours in the waiting room before talking with me about it. He left dirty margins (cancer left inside). I went to another physician who did an excellent job on my mastectomy. I had alot of people recommend him for the breast biopsy which makes me wonder why he was so careless with me?!
