This doctor was utterly dismissive of me when I asked him one very simple question regarding a relative's health history (who now, sadly, has a degenerative condition that, incidentally, Miller had reportedly said to a family member was "reversible" a few months earlier. Now I wonder what else he might have missed or been wrong about all those years!)
When I asked him the question ( if the relative had ever asked about or been treated for an a chronic intestinal issue) he said he didn't remember and he'd have to go through her entire chart. Oh, silly me -- how could I have thought you'd ever do such an onerous task?!
I don't care that he didn't recall something off the top of his head, but the relative in question had been a patient for decades -- you'd think he'd have some sense of loyalty -- or plain old human decency -- and want to help. No, instead he said, "I don't know where you're going with this." Really? You don't where I'm "going with this?" It's a simple question. Did this relative ask about, or have treatment, for X?" What a bizarre response! Why would anyone be so patronizing when someone is asking for help?
A person I first spoke with was 100 times more helpful than Miller, even going so far as to actually answer the question -- because, wonder of wonders, this person took the time to look at the chart! Something, apparently, THE DOCTOR could not do -- and yet somehow found the time to be incredibly condescending and supremely unhelpful.

He will not see you in an emergency even during office hours. He wants to do mostly routine exams and treat people that need constant treatment.

Dr. Miller has taken excellent care of my family and me for almost 30 years. I recently switched insurance companies in order to maintain him as my PCP.

Very caring and compassionate dr. He is always available, if not he has a good dr covering him. Have been in many emergency situations and he always gave me or referred me to the best possible care in the country.

Almost the first words out of the Dr's mouth on my first visit were, "I only have 15 minutes." That told me all I needed to know about the man.

Wait times can sometimes be long, but he will get you in the same day for an infection usually. He's not active via web. By that I mean you can't make an appt over the web and he doesn't currently answer via email. On the other hand if you leave a message he calls back the same day unless someone is covering for him. He also tends to be conservative in his treatments which in my opinion is a good thing.
