I’ve been seeing DR. Goldberg for 3 years and he was outstanding and has since been retired , he has been replaced by Jake Edward Ritt , MD, who is the worst I’ve ever been serviced by. He has a cold demeanor , extremely insensitive and horrible bed side manner. I do not recommend this doctor.

He is the most empathetic, compassionate doctor I have ever met. He listens, pays attention and cares. Summit Medical Group is professional and has lab and x-ray facilities on site. God Bless Dr. Goldberg!

Best doctor ever in my 45 years! Best bedside manner and caring and detailed. He is the one doctor who took the time to figure out my chronic pain even when rheumatology came back negative!!! He proved that a previous dr. basically wrote me off as being obese and misdiagnosed my hip pain. of course i know i need to lose weight but Dr. Goldberg realized I am a human being deserving of care for the problem I am reporting not writing it off.

Dr. Goldberg is a great Rheumatologist and by far is the best Primary Care physician. He keeps me going and recommends the preventative measures that allow me to live a pain-free life. His staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. The office is beautiful and parking is never a problem. Thank you Dr. Goldberg for your care and friendship!!!

I had gone to a Rheumatologist in Livingston in a fancy office and he misdiagnosed me. I went to Dr. G for a second opinion and he correctly diagnosed me with RA, I know because the meds I'm on are helping tremendously. I have known Dr. G for over 30 years and only have needed him since 2003. My mother went to the group there that is how I know him, not personally. I am very pleased with my treatment because without him I would be on disability. I ask him questions and we have dialogue. I too am a healthcare provider so without him I wouldn't be able to treat my patients. Yes he is looking to retire soon but he deserves to after all his years of dedication to the field. He also for many years has been selected by Castle Connelly as a Top Doc in his field. I

I was a patient of Dr. Goldberg for over 10 years. I first went to him because he listened and seemed compassionate and wanted to help. Since that time, I've developed additional problems causing terrible pain. Everytime I see him, he seems frustrated with me and disinterested, as if he's just tired. I think he may be getting ready to semi-retire and just doesn't have the same committment. I'm not just a person coming to his office to whine. If he really can't help me, he should say so. The end result is that I've changed my doctor to one who I again believe cares and really wants to try to help me. His office staff is very nice and pretty efficient. A major convenience that I miss is that there is a lab right on the premises for taking blood tests. I feel bad about my change in perception about Dr. G. I really think he is basically a nice person. He just doesn't seem to have the drive anymore.
