i tore my biceps tendon(distal) which required surgery. Dr. Dyal was very knowledgable and went over all that was needed to be done. She is very professional and intelligent and caring about the pain i have been in. i have never been to a doctor that has been so caring about my needs. When explaining the condition of my tendon she kept it simple, anyone could understand it. She even drew diagrams of the tendons and the stitches used. As an drawing artist i noted she had artistic talent as well. We talked about other types of remedies and she covered all the bases of any questions i asked. I am happy that she was the doctor that treated me. -Frank

Arrogant; condescending; does not like questions; not a good diagnostician and doesn't request MRIs, etc. to verify soft-tissue damage. If you ask too many questions she leaves the room and makes you wait even longer for her to return. Most of the staff is very nice & helpful but billing person is a nasty nightmare and makes many mistakes. One can easily wait 2-3 hours in the waiting room (and another hour or two once inside). She seems to think physical therapy is the solution for all injuries and has no compassion for pain at all and doesn't care to understand that physical therapy frequently worsens some problems. Do not go to her if you have more than one problem or injury because they will not be addressed.

She does not really take the time to explain your condition. She expects you to understand when she uses medical terms. She made me feel very uncomfortable when I asked questions that did not make much sense to her. Also, she is not willing to receive much question. Pretty quich exam and no relief. If you have the option, choose another doctor who will care about your concern, condition and questions.

I have posterior tibial tendonitis. Dr. Dyal put me in a hard cast (old school). She prescribed and NSAID for me, but didn't explained what it was and I was understanding it to be a pain medication that I should take if the pain was real bad. I didn't know I was supposed to take it 2 times a day while I was in the cast, pain or not. When I went back after 4 1/2 weeks and got the cast off, I still had pain. She asked me if I was still taking the NSAID. I told her I didn't need it while I was in the cast because the pain was pretty much non-existant. She told me that I was supposed to take it while in the cast, no matter what... then she told me she had to do surgery. She hadn't even ordered an MRI! I switched doctors... I would never go back to Dr. Dyal.. P.S...the wait time is horrendous!!!!

I broke my wrist and was referred to Dr. Dyal by the hospital. I scheduled a regular check about a week after she put the cast on (at her direction) but the appmt was cancelled by her staff and rescheduled for about a week later. By that time my arm had gotten thinner and the cast was so loose she pulled it right off then proceeded to scold me bc I didn't come in earlier. The last straw was at the last appmt I went to (I finally changed drs.) I made my appmt for the very first one (9:30 am) bc I always seemed to be waiting for hours to see her. Well, after I sat in the waiting room as it filled uuntil 10:30 I overheard a staff member discussing that she hadn't even arrived yet. I went to the desk to inquire and was rudely told that she was running late & I'd just have to wait until she arrived--even though it was already an hour past my apptmt. time. I walked out. Drs. are the only customer service profession that do not seem to have any regard for customer service or others time

As the previous rater stated, Dr. Dyal has no compassion. I brought in medical documentation to support my claims and she agreed with them. Problems with my spine and lower back and cervical spine. She did X-rays and then told me the x-rays did not show a herniated disc. Most doctors would have sent me out for an MRI, which was how the herniation had been found initially. She then tells me that everything the rest of my previous doctors reports said was true. Disc bulging and scoliosis and that my condition was the same from five years ago. I walk with pain. She tells that I can continue in my position which entails heavy lifting, squatting and bending. Stay away from her.
