My daughter was her patient. She is the most rude doctor I have ever met.

Dr. Orazio has treated me since High School and I am currently a professional post college and she continues to advise me. She has recommended conservative doses of medication to treat my ADHD and Anxiety and has always encouraged me to look to other methods of treatment for help. She discusses exercise, diet, supplements, mindfulness and in the past arranged for me to receive neurobiofeedback to treat the ADHD. I would high recommend her.

As a professional who has provided therapy to patients Dr. Orazio treats, it's worth mentioning that she is the rare doctor who talks to patients for typically an hour and a half or even longer when she does the initial assessment because she wants a thorough history and to better understand the human being behind the diagnosis. She is not overly quick to prescribe and has in fact sent patients for therapy to see if that would help first before trying medicine. She does not "mandate" but gives patients choices about their treatment which are generally: take no medication/try this or that medicine, get therapy or don't get therapy with pros and cons to all treatment choices. She researches meds&supplements thoroughly, considers nutritional and exercise interventions and monitors patients very carefully. She will consult and brainstorm ways to help the patient by contacting (with patient permission only)the therapist treating her patients even on the weekends or at night.

Dr. Orazio is a caring and professional provider. She was fabulous in her treatment of my son's ADHD. With her help we have been able to keep my son off of medication for his diagnosis. She did not pressure me or my family to place him on medication, but suggested various parenting techniques and behavioral therapy to manage his symptoms. She is a true professional and is talented in her work. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking care for their child.

I have been seeing Dr. Orazio for several years. She was able to help me not begin medication until it was absolutely necessary. Once I was on medication she listened attentively to my concerns. Together we made decisions. When I suggested to try to manage thing without medications she helped me to do this sensibly. She recommended books and meditation, I did not feel her to be pushy about medication at all. I continue to consult with her and find her honest, available and very caring. Her staff are kind and thoughtful. I have occasionally waited for her, but not as long as other doctors. I have needed more of her time myself, and she has willingly given it to me. Thus I understand the minor delays. I trust her a great deal, and that is a lot to say of your physician.

Dr. Orazio helped me through a tough time a while back. I was about to transition from high school to college, and I was having a difficult time with my weight and self confidence. I struggled with depression for a while, but Dr. Orazio was patient with me and never pushy. That's a tough age for anyone, and she always made me feel like I could talk about anything at any time. I'm about to graduate college in two weeks, and I am so grateful for Dr. Orazio's help and guidance. She helped me through a difficult time, and I think I turned out pretty good! I still to this day share with her my achievements and accomplishments. :)

I was a patient of Dr. Joni Orazio for several years. She was completely competent, caring, patient, compassionate and helpful. Greater than any other physician I have seen, Dr. Orazio provided me the assistance, guidance, and care I sought. She did not push medications on me; rather, she worked WITH me to find the best solutions. She is knowledgeable and up-to-date on meds, and tweaked dosages in order to optimize and minimilize prescriptions. Dr. Orazio understands that good mental health cannot be achieved solely through Rx refills at CVS. She treats the underlying condition(s) holistically and completely, not ceasing until she finds the solution or recommends someone else that she thinks can. In the 4+ years as her patient, I did not once wait more than 30 minutes for an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Orazio's psychiatric services.
