I first saw Dr. Orazio for anxiety attaches eight years ago. She was extremely compassionate, during what I consider a very chaotic time in my life. With the help of Dr. Orazio and my therapist, I went from having about 15 attaches a month to 1 or 2 a year. Dr. Orazio talked to me like a peron and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Orazio is a caring and compassionate physician who has always had my best interest in mind. She rememebers me and is very insightful. I feel as though she truly wants whats best for me. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking an compassionate and caring physician who really listens to her patients. I feel as though she prescribes the right medications for me and that if an adjustment is needed she will listen to me and my concerns. I don't know why some posters have written these negative comments, I find that she is quite the opposite of what this person described. She never overmedicates me and is a great psychiatrist!!!

I was treated by this doctor for 10-12 years and it was the most miserable years of my life. She is pushy and overbearing. She does not LISTEN to the patient. She over-medicates like crazy! I even question her diagnosis. She has a terrible bedside manner. It was like a 12 year power-struggle. I was taken off of medication when I became pregnant and I stayed off meds for 4 years. It was the best I ever felt. I do need some help again, but I found someone else. I don't recommend her but that is not to say she doesn't work well for other people.

Dr. Orazio is kind and knowledgeable. She answers all my questions. I wanted to wean my anti-psychotic meds, and she pointed out how pyschotic I get every time I wean my medications. I have tried to wean them on my own, with a return of my psychotic symtoms. She never fusses at me when I try to wean my medications, she just listens and convinces me to stay on my meds. I have come to realize that people with psychosis/ schizophrenia/ bipolar disorder don't think they need their medications. I have come to realize that I need all my medications. My family, who has suffered every time I decrease my medication, would agree that I need every pill!!

Dr. Orazio is a very caring doctor but she is also very proffessional. She often gets right to the point but when you've spent some time with her you will see that she cares about her patients dearly. The time complaint is totally legitimate. I've waited for over an hour to see her on many occasions. Her staff are very friendly but make scheduling mistakes from time to time.

She is pushy. Overprescribed my meds, 6 different kinds. When I wanted to go down or stop taking some of them, it became a problem. I tried to explain that I just don't have the money and it's like they just don't understand that. A previous reviewer said something like, "Negative reviewers are just mad b/c she won't prescribe the meds that they want, she actually diagnoses the problem." Wrong. She prescribes WAY TOO MUCH! It's just not healthy to be on so many drugs! She has very little concern about the long term side effects of medication. She means well but doesn't do well. I like her but it is EXTREMELY difficult to get her to understand your point of view. To deal with her you have to go into her office prepared, guns drawn. lol I'm looking for another doc ;0)

She is a medication pusher, always changing the doses and it took forever to get her to refer my child to a behavioral therapist, she insisted on meds. She was blunt to the point of rudeness and often kept us waiting over an hour.

She is a very considerate doctor and treats patients with respect. Those below who wrote negative things, they probably are looking for a doctor who will give them the meds they want and not really address their problems.

She makes you wait for hours at a time in the waiting room. She seems to prescribe whatever is new or peaks her interest. She is concerned with herself and uses her psychiatric knowledge to manipulate patients rather than help them.
