I was a patient of Dr. Cantwell's some years ago as a teenage girl. She never took anything seriously and was always reluctant to offer referrals or diagnostic testing. She was rude and passive about my ailments. Well, fast forward years later and now I have a great GP who's ran proper tests and sent me to a specialist. Turns out I have an auto-immune disease that I've most likely had since adolescence and its effects could've been managed much better if caught earlier. I'm going into my third surgery in a month and I'm 28.

So yeah, I have nothing good to say about Cantwell. I wish I had more confidence back then to speak up for myself rather than let her blow me off constantly. I should've seen a specialist years ago.

My mother is still a patient of this Doctor and I just can't understand why.

I like Dr. Cantwell very much and she she is an excellent Dr.

Dr. Cantwell is my Mother's Doctor. She is the most incompetent and unprofessional individual I have encountered in this profession. She treated her for years with chest pains she diagnosed as acid reflux. My mother had blocked arteries and required a triple bypass. She is condescending and rude to both patients and her staff. She does not care about her patients in the least.

The wait in the waiting room to see Dr. Cantwell is sometimes long but that's because she takes her time with each and every patient. She listens and asks questions and is very thorough - she doesn't rush you out the door like so many other doctors I've visited in the past. She keeps up on her medical training and is very knowledgeable. Dr. Cantwell is one of the best doctors that I know and they are hard to find.

I have received the very best of care from Dr. Cantwell. She is very thorough and does not leave anything to chance. She will order tests at the slightest indication that something may be amiss when other doctors that I have had let things go on the chance that it was nothing. Dr. Cantwell does not take those kinds of chances with my health and well-being. Waiting time is a bit long since she spends time with her patients but I bring a good book and enjoy the opportunity to just sit and read.

Dr Cantwell was one of the best doctors I have had. She is attentive to your concerns and responds appropriately. She tends to be a little late because she spends so much time with each patient

I was very unhappy with my previous family doctor (located in Paradise), and Dr. Cantwell came recommended to me by another family member. I am a little knowledgeable in medicine and quite particular about quality of anything (product or service), and have no problem walking away from a doctor I do not like, even if it would mean I have no family doctor. I first started going to Dr. Cantwell with the mindset of evaluating her as a candidate for replacement of my previous family doctor, and came to very much admire and respect Dr. Cantwell for her outstanding thoroughness and attention to detail. She listens, she seems to care, and she follows up. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Cantwell, and believe me, I am very demanding and meticulous. Since I have “approved” her as my family doctor, my recommendations resulted in two more of my family members abandoning that horrible doctor in Paradise, and they too find Dr. Cantwell to be superb.

I'm very happy with Dr. Cantwell - She's open-minded in that she does not judge her patients for their lifestyle, but she is insistent on leading healthy lifestyles. She's very kind, friendly, and courteous. I'm very pleased with her, having been her patient since 2002.
