Dr. Cantwell has helped me through a lot in the past few years, I had a very bad case of social anxiety and other problems. I had this all my life and did not realize it until Dr. Cantwell put me on medication and now I am truly living my life the way I should have been all along I am a new person ...many thanks to Dr. Cantwell. .

I spent many years as a patient of Dr. Cantwell. She didn't listen, berated me frequently, insulted me, was erratic and hostile and wouldn't collaborate with my other specialists of health care providers. Constantly cancelled appointments, didn't keep proper records, and on *several* occasions seemed intoxicated in some way. She would rant about previous patients when it was my time to see her. She bulldozed me constantly, didn't send me for tests I needed and many years later I found I had an illness she wouldn't look into. The specialists I saw asked me who my GP was and when I said her name they each had a disappointed but not surprised reaction and commentary. I first chalked up her abrupt and rude bedside manner to being a busy doctor but she made many incorrect personal statements and judgments about me, including frequently calling me obese (I was an athlete and far from obese). She did me a lot of harm and it took forever to find a new doctor and be free of her. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative comment and I don't wish to be disrespectful but I have often had many others say the same to me about their concerns with the "care" she provides. I saw her be verbally nasty to her staff many times, as well as to patients. I would rather no care than her care and as a result went without help for a long time, between avoiding hostile and demeaning appointments with her and her not cooperating with my other HCPs. If she had not refused the standard tests I required, my illness would have been detected over a decade ago. She called my requests for CT, MRI, etc "vanity requests" and refused. Other specialists had to refer me and were visibly frustrated that she would not send me for even the most rudimentary tests needed to help me. This is simply unacceptable. Doctors are meant to help not hinder. Anger management and retirement might be a solution. To this day I am fearful of doctors because of her treating me with such indignity.

I am still scarred from an interaction with Doctor Cantwell by her abrasive approach and she works only 2 days a week and cancels most times. I had 4 canceled appointments in a row and she berated me for asking for 3 items of support when I did get in. She is moody and you never know what you will get. I rarely complain however she absolutely went over the line with her attitude and insults.

Excellent doctor. Dr Cantwell cares about her patients well being both physically and mentally. She takes extra time to explain things. She is straight forward but yet very compassionate and I never had a problem getting an appointment when I needed one. This doctor is one of the best in my opinion. I am
Very lucky to have her as my GP.

I have received exceptional health care from Dr. Cantwell. She takes time with her patients, questions and probes to get a clear picture of the problem and will not hesitate to do follow up testing to get an accurate diagnosis in order to put a treatment plan into place. She cares for her patients and does her level best to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Cantwell is a knowledgeable and thorough doctor... a good doctor when she actually shows up for work. She only works 2 days a week, even then very often cancels appointments, doesn't show up some days, and as a result of all this is rushed and overbooks causing long waits for her patients in the waiting room in the order of hours every single time. Appointments are usually available 4 weeks down the road and 50% of the time they will be cancelled. Unfortunately, it's this poor work ethic which makes her a bad choice for a family doctor if you have any time-sensitive pressing matters or require medication refills.

Avoid.

Love this Dr. but she is never there. Always cancelling appointments at the last minute & then you can't get in until the next week as she only works 2 days a week & might cancel next weeks appointment too. Actively looking for another Dr. but impossible. Hope she changes her attitude & schedule.

Dr. Cantwell has been my doctors for the past 15 years. I always find her willing to listen and doesn't rush you out the door. She takes the time to explain things and answer any questions you have. If she didn't care about her patients and only cared about the money, you'd be in and out in a couple of minutes - however, that is not the case! Dr. Cantwell is very personable, honest and takes a no-senescence approach. My only complaint is frequent cancelled appointments. Most times when I have to see her, it's to renew a prescription in which case she's willing to write a prescription and fax to my pharmacy.

I had an appointment with this doctor. I went in, and she wasn't there. The other doctor in the office said that her not showing up isn't an uncommon occurrence. Fortunately, I've found another family doctor.
