I am a long time patient and think Dr Jaffe is the best. She is not the warm and fuzzy type, but has always taken time with me when needed and makes sure I am well informed.

I started with Dr. Kluasner and when he retired went to Dr. Janicki who was ok. During my rotation for my 1st pregnancy Dr. Jaffee discovered something that concerned her. I was immediately referred to a high risk OB and Dr. Jaffee later delivered my healthy 3lb preemie later. She is an amazing Dr! I trust her with my life and believe because of her my son was born healthy and alive. True she is not warm and fuzzy, but she is professional, interested, quick to react without over reacting. For my second son, though she had promised her girls she would try to be home right after school, she stayed late and delivered my second son. She is, in my opinion, everything you want in a Dr. You want warm and fuzzy go get your hair done, you want the best treatment and health care, see Dr. Jaffee.

Dr. Jaffe has been my physician for over a decade. She is extremely profesional and has always gone above and beyond. She delivered all of my children and provided excellent care when I was having difficulty with one of my pregnancies. She is upfront and honest in her discussions. I appreciate this in a physician. I do not require a lot of hand holding, but I do place a lot of value on competency and frankness. Dr. Jaffe has both. For what it's worth, she was always sympathetic and caring when I was experiencing difficulties. I did not feel rushed during my appointments with her, but I usually have a list of questions in my head before I go in. She always makes the time to answer my questions. When I have called the office to seek medical advice, my call is always returned promptly. Honestly, I am shocked that the disappointed posters are talking about the same Dr. Jaffe that I have seen for a very long time. She is a doctor, not your BFF for goodness sake. I absolutely love her!

In short, this doctor was rushed and rude. She does not smile and is condescending. The office is disorganized; they kept telling me that "I wasn't a patient" because they couldn't find my file. They did find it eventually. I also was undertreated for excess morning sickness...as soon as I switched doctors, I learned immediately that my care was less than adequate. Once I found a different doctor affiliated with a different hospital did I realize just how rude and cold this doctor is. I am very glad I switched because now I am comfortable with my new doctor, who has not only the knowledge, but also has a wonderful bedside manner.

This doctor was extremely rushed, and was very curt. She never explained what she was doing during the exam, which bothered me, as every other obgyn I have ever had was sure to do so. She also did not make eye contact. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions, and did not even ask how I was feeling or even if I was taking prenatal vitamins. She also made a comment: "Hopefully sometime I will get to meet your husband." It was my first appointment, and he was home sick...I certainly didn't need the guilt trip for coming to my first appointment alone. I don't need a doctor to coddle me; however, I did not feel happy or taken care of when I left her office. I did not feel like a patient; just a number. In addition, all the test results are to be obtained by calling an answering service instead of being given by the dr. I prefer to get my test results in person instead of over the phone, should I have any questions. I am disappointed and will be switching doctors.

I, too, have been a patient of Dr. Jaffe's for over a decade. Not only has she delivered both of my children by c-section, but she also detected my lump that turned out to be breast cancer...at the age of 29. She pushed for a mammogram and I know that many other young survivors are misdiagnosed or dismissed by their doctors because some believe that we are too young to get breast cancer and they don’t take us seriously. I like the fact that she is quick, to the point, and is extremely knowledgeable. I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes for any appointment.

I have seen Dr. Jaffe for more than a decade. She has delivered all three of my children. If you want a warm, fuzzy doula-type she is not the doctor for you. But I think she is more than pleasant and highly intelligent. I trust her implicitly. I think the office works very hard to see their patients on time. Out of dozens of appointments I've never waited more than 10 minutes, and often they call me back before I sit down.

I saw her about 4 times. She is always in a hurry and is annoyed if you have questions. She also told me I had to wait because I was 5 minutes late, I ended up waiting an hour. I get frequent UTI's and I knew I had one so I went to see her, she had to test me before she would prescribe anything. A day passed and I was in so much pain, it was getting worse. Now there was blood in my urine. I called her and she told I did not have a UTI and she told me it probably wasn't blood, it was something else that looked like blood. (Despite her not even seeing the blood urine) About 20 minutes pass after having spoke to her, she calls me back and says that my test results just now came across her desk, and I do infact have a UTI. How can I not being a doctor determine I have a UTI and she couldn't? And the fact she was telling me what I was seeing in my urine!? She had no clue. I know blood when I see blood.
