She is a wonderful, compassionate doctor who listens to your symptoms and does not give up. She has treated me for years for lyme and babesia and has gotten me to a very functional life, even when relapsing several times after stopping antibiotics. She keeps up with the latest treatments and consults with peers on their latest research too, which has brought me to where I am today. She has also found other health issues that two other doctors have overlooked! She is a Godsend! I owe her so much! She has also saved my husband from several serious health complications too.

My husband contracted Lymes in 2009 and was very sick because he also gad a bacterial infection you can get with the tickets and got the Bell's Palsy facial paralysis. Dr. McIntyre took it seriously, recognizing the CDC standards are woefully inadequate and provided the guidance and care to completely knock it out of his system. She is a gem of a doctor.

I informed staff I had positive IGeneX test for Lyme disease. At appt, I was told my Dr. M she believed I didn't have Lyme, but was 'only depressed.' I have many symptoms of Lyme, physical and neurological, but she refused to get passed the fact I had a time of depression in my past, 28 yrs prior when my husband was killed in an accident. She told me she believed if I took Celexa, an antidepressant, 'all my symptoms would go away'. Crazy talk. I feel the staff should have told me the doctor would not accept my positive IGeneX Lyme test, and in not providing me with care, but taking my $550.00, is bait and switch, and misconduct by the doctor and staff. Maybe since the doctor has a history of medical misconduct, housing a patient with mental illness, only to have the patient end up in the psych ward, well, I've been hosed by her private/business issues. If you have any history of any depression for any reason, don't tell her if you need treatment for Lyme disease. Good luck.

Saved my child from the horrible effects of neurological lyme. She was deteriorating badly at the time and 4 different pediatricians refused to help her (refused to believe lyme can last past a month of antibiotics). Those doctors should all lose their licenses. Thank God there was a doctor or my daughter would be a completely different human being right now. We are still fighting lyme but hope to get rid of it completely this year..mostly cognitive problems remain now (pediatricians said didn't exist with lyme) but most physical symptoms have improved dramatically

Very good Lyme doctor, especially for kids. She is in the same office with Dr. Kenneth Singleton, who is considered the best LLMD in our area.
