I was just horrified by Dr. Penney's approach to patient evaluation. He raised his voice numerous times, contradicted everything I tried to explain. No, that it not possible , this is not possible. Made me feel like hypochondriac!! Some stupid flake. I went on the advice of family doctor for intermittent memory loss. I wish to lose my memory of this horrible event. I was scared about what was happening to my memory. All you did was confuse me more . I was so upset. I have had many rude doctors, even have worked with a few, but never did I feel so defiled than in your office. You striped myself as a person. Maybe doctors in the business over 30 years lose their insight on how to treat the patient. We are people with feelings and deserve respect and consideration. Time for you to retire. How dare you ever raise your voice to any patient! Also rule of thumb, never ever contradict another doctor's diagnosis or recommendations unless you are asked for your opinion. You were not!!!!

Dr. Penny diagnosed my focal dystonia over 20 years ago after several physicians missed it. (One other doctor even had me go through a painful, unsuccessful operation to release the ulnar nerve after misdiagnosing me.) Because of Dr. Penny, I have been able to write comfortably again for the past 20-plus years. My annual appointments with him now are mostly to make sure I am still writing comfortably. I am grateful for his compassionate care.

Poor attitude for a physician. Not willing to listen & look outside the box and missed a diagnosis causing much grief, frustration and lengthy wait on the patient's side. (Another doctor found solution) Seemed aloof & non-caring. Would not see this physician again.
