Slow. Always waiting for at least 20-30 minutes. With sick toddlers that is eternity. Very disorganized and always having computer issues. Little too old school for modern times.

Dr. May was recommended by several people when I was searching for a pediatrician. If you are looking for a small practice where the doctor will get to know you and your child, this is the place to go. I was very impressed with the amount of time he spent with us during the visit. I have not had to call yet on a weekend, so I can not speak to that but it is expected with a small practice that you may not get the same availability as you would have with a big practice. He has walk in hours every M-F in the morning which has been sufficient for me so far in regards to "emergencies" or "sick visits". I have been satisfied with his knowledge but know little about Pediatrics so I'm not the best judge of his knowledge/skill.

First, most doctor's offices charge you to copy records. So I don't know what this other patient is complaining about. I had a pediatrician I loved but unfortunately she left PA. A friend recommended Dr. May to me and so far I have been pleased. He is VERY pro-vaccine so if you are not vaccinating beware. However, he has not bullied me into vaccinating my children. He takes his time with my children during appointments and has a very calm demeanor. I love Donna who works the front desk. It is a small, hands-on practice. I've only had to call with a question once and received the help I needed. I would recommend Dr. May.

Where do I even start? I am not a person who calls the pediatrician often. However, when my daugther, who was 18 months old, was running a fever and throwing up, I didn't know what to do. She had never been sick before and I needed guidance. I called twice with no response. I had to contact a friend's doctors office to help me with the situation. I never had an appointment less than 45 minutes long and that was on the quick side. He is very oppionated. He thinks that you should do everything with your kids that he does with his own. He billed the wrong insurance company 3 times after we switched insurance companies! That took a year to get straightened out. Overall he is just not a great ped. While he doesn't make you panic over every little thing, when you need an answer, you want someone who is going to call you back! I'm very dissapointed that he is CHARGING me to have my daughters records copied! Ridiculous! Glad we switched!
