Dr. Shapiro is a good doctor. I was a patient of his for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately until recently I did not need his staff to do anything for me other than booking appointments and referrals. His insurance girl is extremely rude, uncompassionate, and ill mannered. She is a terrible reflection on his practice. For that reason alone I have decided to switch primary care physicians. She should be fired. When I asked the front desk girl for help in my situation she also had an attitude. Time to move on.

Doctor Shapiro is caring, maticulous, and thorough. He has cared for my family, has gone the extra mile for my extented family and saved the life of one of my students by detecting and treating a cancer. I know Dr. Shapiro is devoted to his patients well being.

My husband started seeing him two years ago, went in for bronchitis, Shapiro gave him a bunch of useless pills that done nothing. Then he went back to him a year later for a sever back pain, my husband was sure it was a hernia, but Shapiro diagnosed it as lower back strain, gave him muscle relaxers and night time pain medications that even with our prescription plan cost over $200. Three days ago he went to see him again for an injury that started at his shoulder and went down his arm, Shapiro diagnosed it as a possible rotator cuff injury and prescribed him two different medications that work against each other and cause sever cramping in the arm - thanks to him my husband is now on the way to the hospital in sever pain. Needless to say my husband will be finding himself a new doctor.

THE WORST DOCTOR AND OFFICE EVER! Doctor is condescending, rude and pompous!!!Staff is "trained" to repeat the same things over & over without thinking or differentiating indivuduals! The girls especially the manager should work as bouncers at some dive nightclub not a doctors office. Waits are anywhere from 40 minutes to 1.5 HOURS!!!!!!! Yes i've waited that long! They are not helpful nor nice which in my option is the whole purpose of a doctors office. I've put up with this for years, thinking he has my history I should stay maybe next time it'll be better, but I'm done with the aggrivation, who has the time & why? My opinion RUN before its too late lol

He is the worst! The staff are all unprofessional clowns! They were talking about my results like if it was a normal conversation. I knew what I had before I spoke to the doc due to the staff's loud mouths. He never listened to what I had to say, instead immediately sent me back to the VA (the reason I came to him in the first place). They received my results days before and I had to keep calling to inquire about them and all along they had the results. When he read the results to me and I asked about it and to give me more information, he said "look it up on the Internet". I was speechless. He is very rude, extremely judgmental and a true unprofessional clown! Time to look for a real doctor.

Dr. Shapiro changed my prescription from 6 months to 4 months without any notice. At first I thought it was a mistake. After multiple phone calls and two letters, I still couldn't find out why. Every time I spoke with someone in the office they would start with you need blood work and end with you need to come in. I just had blood work. I saw Dr. Shapiro every six months. Now it seems he wants to up the appointments to every 4 months without an explanation. His staff has poor customer service skills. I get put on hold mid-sentence, spoken to like I’m interrupting their day and they send my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. Eventually I was told if I wanted to go to another doctor he would give me a 30 day prescription to hold me until I could find another healthcare provider. I’ve never raised a complaint until now. Yet after almost 20 years as a patient I’m told he no longer wants my business and he won’t even take the time to speak with me himself - very disappointing.

Staff is very unprofessional and rude. Dr always takes his time while patients are waiting in back to be seen. Dr is rude, consescending, unhelpful, and had an attitude. He said i needed a specialist and gave me a list of drs to call. I wound up in ER pumped up with morphine and iv antibiotics. This Dr is a jerk and a waste of time and copay!! He should change his bedside manner or retire cause he onviously hates his profession to be so rude to all his patients. And staff talks crap about patients out loud so that everyone can hear! And the Dr allows it! He does it with them lol!isnt there a Hippa law for this reason? I forgit to mention at my firat 2 visits he was making comments about my breasts! He is a creep! I feel bad for his wife! And any other patients that have the misdortune of seeing this Dr! Save ur co-pay and time!

Rude. Will ask you what's wrong then interrupts you in mid-answer. Easily annoyed when asked a question. Quick to sling pills at problems rather than use non-heavy prescription solutions for minor problems. Not aware of even why you will come in. Easily forgets patient histories. His office refuses to give you blood test results. You have to chase them to get them to do their jobs. Unprofessional staff of walmart workers.
