Dr. Zubair is an excellent physician. Answered all my questions before the colonoscopy and met with me in the recovery room where he showed me photos. He was very reassuring and impressed me with his expertise. I would highly recommend him.

When I first met this doctor, I had to wait for 30 monutes after my appointment time before he came into my room. He did give me the procedure date I wanted. When I arrived for my procedure, the nurse said Dr. Zubair would me in to see me before the procedure. I did not see him until he was standing over me and the other Doctor sedated me. After the procedure, he was waiting at the end of the bed to speak with my husband. My husband came out of the bathroom and Dr. Zubair asked him if he washed his hands. My husband thought he was very rude. This was my husbands first time meeting Dr. Zubair. Dr. Zubair handed my husband pictures that were not labeled and quickly said what he found and left. I was confused about the results. I had to ask for the reports to figure out I had polyps that could turn cancerous. I did not know what he did until I received the report. On the discharge paperwork Dr. Zubair said he would call. I did not receive a call. I received an online mychart message for Dr. Zubairs CMA. There was also comments thst my prep was fair and that Dr. Zubair may have missed somerhing. I was shocked as I did not eat after thursday evening until Saturday afternoon. I drank a gallon of prep and only had clear liquids. I was very disappointed in how Dr. Zubair treated me.

I first saw Dr Zubair about seven years ago,i had to go back to him two years later when i got brought into the room he made a comment jokingly about my last visit which took two and a half hours and was just scheduled for an hour, the thing was he was absolutely correct i saw the bill after the procedure and couldn't believe how much the insurance cut into the bill, turned out on my first visit i had eight pollups two of them the size a quater,i think he saved my life, i think people are too sensitive and don't understand the stress doctors are under, i highly recommend him and am actually due for my next procedure next year,

My husband had and upper GI done yesterday.
While he lay in the recovery room Dr. Zubair walks in to talk with me about the procedure. He had his back to my husband as he awoke and my husband started asking questions, as he was still waking up. Dr.Zubair said , "I have to tend to another patient, I have to go. If you don't like my answers go find another doctor I don't need another patient." As his wife, sitting there listening to him as he rolled his eyes at my husbands questions, I couldn't believe what I had just heard. He left the room and I went to go look for him to give him a piece of my mind but couldn't find him. I told the nurse who was in the room my concerns and to pass this on for me, and she said she agreed with me. I don't like this doctor at all and will move on to another doctor who cares about his patients with the bedside manner they deserve. Doctors who recommend him should read these posts. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WON'T GO BACK TO HIM AT ALL!!!!! I hope thatDr Zubair reads these posts and wakes up to the reality of these patients. One day this will be you in a bed at a hospital. What comes around goes around. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DAY!

I saw Dr Sharif while in the hospital for some abdominal pain. He was great doc to me. He listened, didn't rush out of the room and showed concern. I udually don't rate docs but in his defence I can't believe some of these negative comments.

Dr. Zubair is an amazing gastroenterologist, he has a wonderful bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. My family has been seeing him for years, and he always makes the time to personally ensure we understand the procedures, treatments, and next steps for recovery. He treats my family with such care and special handling, it is a shame to read the other negative comments. I would highly recommend Dr. Zubair, he is the best doctor I have ever dealt with.

Can't believe the comments I've read here. I've been seeing Dr. Zubair for years and so has my wife. He's one of my favorite doctors. He has a great bedside manner and a sense of humor. He even set up weekend colonoscopy appointments in mid and late December for all of us procrastinators who max out our deductibles late in the year and want to get in under the wire. Once I screwed up my colonoscopy prep by eating a huge meal way past the deadline. He talked me through an additional prep step that allowed me to have the procedure on schedule. After the procedures I was given a full explanation of what was found including photos(yuk). Great guy. No issues whatsoever.

Dr. Zubair needs to work on his bedside manner. Constant interruptions, complete lack of desire to answer questions, flippant dismissals of any issue you bring up. Seems a lot more interested in being published than actually helping anybody.
