Previous 2 posts seem to be about a different doctor. Repeatedly I found it easy to make an emergency appointment. Dr took time to thoroughly examine me, ordered the right treatment. Her receptioninst is most polite and professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson's for almost two years now. I was initially treated by her at an Emergency Care clinic and subsequently chose her as my primary physician. She is always courteous, professional and is very engaged during my visits. She listens to me, always explains what the problem is and does not try to hurry me though an appointment. I feel that her answers to my questions are thorough and that she relates to me as an equal. She takes time to call me personally if I have questions and/or when I receive test results. Dr. Thompson is thoughtful, caring and reasoned in the service that she provides. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a competent physician.

Dr. Thompson takes her time when you are in her office. She makes you feel comfortable and that she isn't in a hurry to get to her next patient. She also will call you at home to discuss lab results and any findings she may have uncovered. She gives you her cell phone # and actually answers your calls. I choose Dr. Thompson because another physician told me she was smart, caring, and thorough. All this is true.

I am so glad I found Dr. Thompson. She is very, very patient, takes her time with you, and takes everything you say seriously--but she's pretty witty, too. Her office is super small and quiet--just how I like it. Her office assistant/receptionist is really on the ball as well. I very highly recommend her.

Dr. Thompson is the best doctor I've had. I hate feeling like I am on an assembly line at a dr's office- get 'em in, get 'em out, quick. Up until now that's always how I've felt. But she is one of the 1st doctors I've had to sit and ask me how I am doing personally, and then take the time to hear what's ailing me without rushing me through. I went to see her for what could arguably one of the most embarrassing problems ever, and she was incredibly kind and patient, and made me feel comfortable. I feel like I can ask her anything and she will give me a thoughtful answer. I'd also like to add that she seems to understand the concept of "total health"- that what's going on in your life (stress, grief, etc) can affect what's going on in your body. She's not going to just prescribe a pill and send you packing- she wants to look at the total picture. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Thompson has repeatedly been a great doctor for me. She has responded in a very compassionate and thorough manner to all of my issues, even when I think these issues might seem trivial. If you are looking for someone who will really listen (the old-fashioned way), Dr. Thompson is an excellent choice.

Made an emergency appointment right away. Dr took time examining, was thorough and professional. We have had good experience with her since 1999.

Dr. Thompson was very judgemental and unhelpful. To every question I answered, she had a judgemental comment and shared at least three personal stories that belied her lack of social skills. About ten minutes into my only visit with her, she began to give me a lecture about what she percieved as my personality flaws completely forgetting that she was supposed to be giving care to a patient who was in pain and under stress. She also bragged about not having any sort of computer technology in her personal or professional life. When I left, I was terrified that I would need to have surgery after she offered only the most extreme and severe possiblities, never even mentioning lesser options and did nothing to reassure me or make me feel better. She also insulted me by telling me that much of the medical history she took from me was incorrect which would mean that at least three other doctors are wrong but she is right. She was awful!
