The entire team was very friendly, which helped reduce anxiety. It will make getting my husband in for his colonoscopy easier.

I have had nothing but the best experience with Dr. Johnson. In the past twelve years have had two colonoscopies administered by her and they were flawless and I would say as perfect as is probably possible.

Dr. Johnson came highly recommended and is clearly highly intelligent. My negative comment concerns my colonoscopy only. I have had twilight sleep sedation on a number of occasions, fell asleep, woke up and it was over. I could feel this procedure from the start, did not fall asleep, and complained several times about the amount of discomfort. She told me to breathe deeply, which was pretty hard to do while in pain. I was not at all prepared for this experience given that I have always fallen asleep in the past, thus negating the need to breathe deeply. I do not know why the twilight sedation was not wholly effective. I spoke to many friends who had the procedure. Nobody was awake for so much of the procedure as I was.Based on this experience, I would try another physician the next time I need this exam. Again, she is well-respected in her field and came highly recommended, but I was miserable before, as expected! and during, which was not expected.
