As career paramedic myself, I know just a little & Dr. Hanlon made assumptions about my medical presentation immediately. I had 1 glass of wine with a friend 90 minutes prior to falling down 20 stairs, I have no memory of the fall, or after, I required stitches for a laceration above my eye (I didn't get any) I was left on my bed which was soaked in my own uring, after the disposable bed pan broke, I was told my blood alcohol level was .38. That would mean I drank 11 glasses of wine in the 90 minutes before my fiance found me, bloody, bruised & confused. I had brain cancer in '07, & a TIA x2. Did anyone ask? NO! They said they were going to keep me there to sober up! Shame on all of you David RN, Erin RN, and Dr. Hanlon . in my 25 yrs as a paramedic I never onced passed judgement on a single patient. If you are this burnt out in your VERY young years, may I suggest a career change. Could it be the lab made an error? Did anyone take a full hx? NO . I left disgusted.
