The person who answers the appointment line is terribly rude and hostile. She refuses to give her name to me since I wanted to talk to the office manager and complain. The doctors are good but whoever this person is, she does not deserve to work there. If the office keeps employing her, both my husband and I will leave and look for a new doctor. If you have similar experiences please write a review and let the office know about this.

Very rude doctor and rushes the appointment. Orders expensive and unnecessary tests. Avoid seeing her! She thinks she is more important than any one else. Can't believe she actually cares for patients. no compassion or professionalism

She is horrible! Rude, inpatient, curt and horrible! Did not listen to me, left room 4 times during appt, made very condescending remarks and actually told me I took too much of her time and walked out the door! Unbelievably terrible! DO NOT GO TO HER!!

Rude and unpleasant doctor. Each experience felt like being with a mean high school nurse. Very hard to talk with about condition.

I have been going to Burkett's office for 2 years and today is the first time she's ever actually taken the time to come into the room and see me. I called in and told the receptionist that I thought I had some sort of throat or sinus infection (I'm REALLY sick and have had enough sinus infections to know one when I have one. I need antibiotics and I know it.) Burkett told me that I have an incurable cold virus and that there is no such thing as a sinus infection. REALLY?? THERE'S NOT?? Hm, very interesting. She also told me that you can't get sick from the flu vaccine. REALLY?? Because I always have side effects that make me sick when I get the flu shot. Burkett was cold, RUDE, and acted like I was wasting her time. I will never go to this office again. I literally got up after I knew she wasn't going to give me antibiotics and left the room while she was still sitting in the examination room. Don't waste your time on this "doctor" who shouldn't be trusted.

Dr. Burkett has been my primary for many years-but no longer. I like her "let's get to it" attitude, all business--but I do have to say that she has been quite compassionate to me at times over all the years. However, she has lied to me outright, and I no longer trust her, so have a new primary now. I was outt of town and was stuck because of weather--I had taken 4 days of my important meds, was stuck for 10 days. Her nurse spoke to her and said "She has no license to call in prescriptions out of state," She left me in a void of healthcare, and I KNEW she could call it in because she hasoffered to before. I was not asking for some hard core drug--just .25 of xanax for enough days to get back home--I have parkinson's, and she left me to suffer in addition to the lie. She has qood qualities, but I no longer trust her to care for me, sad to say.

I saw Dr. Burkett for unintended weight loss and reoccurring anxiety. I had just moved to Highlands Ranch after a very difficult move and husband's job changes. Dr. Burkett was cold and uncaring. I don't think she even touched me. After I told her about some nodules in my thyroid history she sent me for a very expensive nuclear scan and ultrasound. I am still paying that off a year later. My endocrinologist was surprised she had even ordered such an expensive test. I would not recommend Dr. Burkett to anyone. I really needed someone far more tender and understanding. I saw her a few times with hopes I had caught her on a bad day, no luck. The PA or nurse practitioner was not much better, I had little faith in her knowledge. Don't waste your money or time. The positive review and slants toward housewives must come directly from her office, not nice.

I read her reviews before making an appt and thought maybe she was having an bad day when they went. Nope. All is true what has been written about her. She spends no time discussing your issues, only looks at what you called in for and examines you then walks out. She comes back with tests to be ran. I have high blood pressure and she placed me on a new medicine at a very low dose that doesn't do a thing for me! I asked her at my next appt if my dose should be raised since my blood pressure is always high. She replied no, I'll give you a water pill. What?? another pill?? I do not trust her. I'm looking for another doctor. Don't waste your time here.

The happy face ratings on this website are bogus! No way that anyone has had a good experience with Dr. Burkett. It's not bored housewives writing her reviews as one reviewer (Maybe Dr Burkett herself, sounds like her, or her staff) wrote...It's real people with real issues that she could care less about! Do not waste your time with this Dr. She is not invested in anything but herself!

I think your knowledge rating should be changed to something like "Treatment Satisfaction"; it is very presumptive to rate someone's knowledge. Dr Burkett has been my doc for 15 years. My visits have been mostly for annual checkups. The front desk staff at the new location are organized and efficient. My appointment was right on time and I was on my way in 50 minutes. Dr Burkett was pleasant and answered all my questions satisfactorily. No complaints from me.
