This office is a 10/10 beginning at the front desk...in all my experience with doctors, the care and attention recieved by Dr Melnyk is second to none. She made a difficult time in my life understandable and stress free, and, even though i have moved to Alberta, she will remain in charge of my file and i will travel to Chilliwack for my yearly check ups.

The office admin girl is just that seems. It's like talking to a ten year old who resents being told to pick up her room. She also didn't follow up on what she said she would do, and why does it take up over 30 rings on one call for her to pick up the phone?

My story: there once was a urologist who correctly diagnosed and successfully treated kidney cancer. Then, utilizing her knowledge, experience and intuition, went on to reveal an undetected malignant nodule in my lung. (By the way, lung cancer rarely exhibit symptoms.)
So, Dr. Megan Melnyk saved my life...twice! (She's also personable, professional, empathetic, funny...and really tall!)

Dr Melnyk was very truthful and honest when it came to my situation. She held nothing back and let me know exactly what was going to happen. Having never had a kidney removed before her honesty was needed. I'd recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Melnyk cured major issues that were effecting day to day life caused by the prior doctor who I was seeing at a different office. Very highly recommend seeing her. Very knowledgeable and was able to help find a new solution to past surgery complications caused by the previous doctor I was seeing. Previous to seeing her I was visiting the emergency room once every few months but after switching doctors I now have some relief and can continue enjoying life. Do not hesitate to contact her office, excellent doctor!
