The treatment for hair loss is wonderful. Good to see someone tackling this issue with something that works so well.

Have serious misgivings about the motivations of this doctor. 30 ml of sunscreen for $185? So something like $800 for facial sunscreen each month? Abusive and nonsensical.

Was late, very quick and did not explain what she was saying. Just recommended products and treatment and ran out the door.
You are supposed to make a client feel safe and uncomfortable when discussing personal issues such as skin. Very disappointing

I agree with a lot of the negative points people are mentioning here. Very obnoxious "branding", just does not seem genuine at the end of the day because very into unproven treatments which is probably unethical?... the supplements, branded chocolate, weight loss devices and the skin care, all getting pretty close to snake oil.

The dermatologist only saw me for about 10 minutes after I was asked questions by the concierge (nurse) prior to the doctor entering the room. When the doctor did enter the room, I wasn’t asked any questions about my medical history and she only looked at my skin for less than 10 seconds. The conditions that I was diagnosed with were not properly explained to me, and the service was very rushed and impersonal. Paying $350 for a 10 minute consultation with a doctor does not seem fair. This clinic looks beautiful and it’s in a great location on Gertrude Street but it doesn’t seem worth the cost. I’ve seen another dermatologist in the past where I spent at least 40 minutes in the room with a doctor who examined me properly, asked me about my medical history and explained the diagnosis properly to me with drawings and diagrams. That’s what you would expect from a specialist appointment that costs $350. Since seeing another dermatologist , the initial diagnoses turned out to be wrong. I would proceed with caution before making an appointment at ODE.

After my appointment with Dr Gunatheesan I felt taken advantage of. I left with a list of expensive treatments that have not been proven. No follow up and no blood tests for new medication. I even called and emailed to explain some problems I was having with my medication and have had no follow up. Very disappointed. After discussing this matter with a few medical professionals, I now know that my complaint is a common one. I now have to go to another dermatologist. Complete waste of money.

This doctor obviously only cares about her promoting her brand and not helping patients. She charged $300, was late and the brief appointment was over in less than 7minutes. Horrible experience.

Dr. Shyamalar overcharges the patients. She does not give you any time to ask questions; the appointments are very rushed despite the very high cost. She spends less than five minutes for an appointment and does not care about the patient at al. All she does is suggest the expensive Rationale skincare products. She couldn't help me with my skin problem, which was resolved later on by my GP. I expected way more than this from a dermatologist.
