Dr. Diep is an extremely knowledgeable, patient ophthalmologist. He cares a lot about his patient, with no rush, and in a friendly manner. His work is always accurate, I'm glad to know him and his professional, responsible and kind team and personnel in reception. I highly recommend.

He did not put an effort to see his patients carefully. He has no knowledge. I was told it will get heal in 2 days for my injured cornea but guess what? I am still in pain and it is still recovering per another doctor?! What have you studied ?????????

This office is a gong show. A factory.
AVOID. This office at all costs. So many better eye docs on North Shore. Front desk argumentative.

Dr. Tung was professional, and efficient. Diagnosed my retinal tear and arranged for treatment the next day. Informative and courteous. A great experience.

As someone who has been diagnosed with macular degeneration, the recommendation from Dr. Diep is that I be examined every 6 months. I have been advised by staff following each visit that I will be contacted with my next appointment scheduled for 6 months. This has not occurred without me contacting the office after the 6 months has come and gone. I understand from Dr. Diep that with this diagnosis continuing referrals are not required from my attending. My last appointment was April 16 and it is now December 16

I am a young woman who had severe unilateral eye ptosis that affected my vision and my appearance. This doctor told me that there was “nothing really that could be done”... oh and my favourite, “possibly surgery, but MSP would not cover it, so it would likely be $10,000!”

Well, I finally demanded a referral to an eye specialist outside of the clinic where Dr. Diep works, and within 5 minutes of examining me, this new doctor was able to diagnose the problem and I was booked for reconstructive surgery 3 weeks later that was in fact covered by BC’s medical services plan!

If I had believed Dr. Diep’s poor advice I would still be suffering. Good thing I had the foresight to seek PROPER care ELSEWHERE!

Dr Diep mismanaged my father for years and it led to a worsening of his glaucoma. We finally were able to move the records to a more knowledgeable ophthalmologist at VGH and his vision loss has stopped progressing. Would not recommend going to see him

Dr. Diep misdiagnosed me after seeing him several times over a period of almost a year. Prescribed me expensive medication which was not working and told me continue even though there was no results. When I asked about taking oral medication instead and that my eye problem could be something else. He simply told me he could not help me anymore and sent me to see a different ophthalmologist. I am very disappointed with Dr. Diep because I spent lots of time & money and got no results.

Dr. Diep is amazing. I was so afraid to have needles in my eye but he has such a calm nature and explains everything. He has never hurt me. I've had a treatment with needles every month for a year. My eye has gone from being legally blind to now having 25/20 vision. I hope he never retires. Other doctors who do this treatment don't freeze the eye first, but Dr. Diep does and he never ever hurts me. Sometimes the staff are a bit abrupt, but they often have a very busy waiting room. Generally they are good. Justin is amazing as well ( he does the eye testing). Thank you Dr. Diep.
