There are no words adequate for the gratitude I have for Dr. Self. 11 years ago Dr. Self did my breast augmentation and it still looks amazing. He has seen me every year since my augmentation to ensure that everything was still in top condition and that I wasn't having any problems. Two months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was faced with needing reconstructive surgery. At the time of my diagnosis Dr. Self was booked out months in advance for surgery because he's so good at what he does, but he didn't hesitate to tell me that he would find a way to do my reconstruction, even if it meant doing surgery at midnight. Dr. Self has made me feel more comfortable than any doctor I've ever been to, and I will forever view him as the best plastic surgeon out there. Anyone who's luck enough to see Dr. Self is seeing the best of the best!

My 70-year-old mother- in-law had several surgeries from him. Think extreme makeover granny edition. I question his judgement (and hers) to do such a thing. Five days later, and she can still barely remain conscious or upright. My wife is taking care of her around the clock. Trip to the emergency room. After a long night in the emergency room, his office calls the next day for them to hurry over for a check up at 07:30 P.M. They get there on time....And wait....And wait....And wait...One hour and ten minutes later he walks in to see them. He is a perfect example of a doctor that has no concern for anyone for himself and the almighty dollar. His office was no help in relaying messages of her symptoms or providing an appropriate plan to deal with her health in the aftermath of his surgeries. Dr Self is amazing, he did my tummy tuck after my twins, and was awesome. I recently had another surgery (for kidney issues) and one of the nurses even asked me where I had my tummy tuck done, as she said it was the best she had seen. She wanted to get a tummy tuck and wanted his information. I know the day of my surgery several of the nurses told me Dr Self did their tummies and breasts. So you know if all the nurses who know ALL the doctors use Dr Self, he is the best.

Dr. Self is the best! He did reconstruction on my breast following a mastectomy, including making a new nipple, and he did a "lift" on the other breast. He is very personable, never rushes through an appointment, very knowledgeable, very talented, and I could go on and on. He is wonderful!

Dr Self is patient and listens. He has excellent bedside manner. He is extremely skilled with his work. Had a TT and lipo and very happy!
