I came into the ER in an awful state - some of the worst pain and illness I’ve experienced. Dr. Vonneissen was very kind, patient, attentive, and respectful. He took all of my concerns very seriously and made efforts to follow up with any issue I listed to him. His calm and empathetic energy made me feel comfortable and ensured that my ER experience was not as difficult as it could have been. I seriously hope I never end up back here again, but if I do, I hope it’s Dr Vonniessen that I get to see.

Excellent first contact when I brought my elderly mother into the Lakeshore emergency. Compassionate, thorough, skilled interviewer and listener, good analysis of the medical situation and care plan. I was very grateful for his intervention.
